Our Dog Trot Guest Suites consists of 2 suites each with a queen bed, an additional sleeping area (daybed or trunnel) and private bath. Our 180 deg views are spectacular and the stars at night are big and bright! Long term stays incur a $100 cleaning every two weeks.

Star gazing and sitting on our beautiful pavillion while you grill is only one of the reasons why you should book with us. Wander the park like property and hike to the very top of our own little mountain and see for miles. Roast marshmallows over the firepit on starry nights. Rest-Relax-Return!

Perfectly situated 5 minutes to Comfort, 25 to Kerrville, 25 to Fredericksburg & 20 to Boerne: Great for taking advantage of all the dining, shopping and attractions in the hill country. Also an especially good location for bicyclists & motorcyclists. One small house-trained dog that remains leashed while outdoors is welcome.

The Riverwood - A Hill Country retreat!

The Riverwood cabin was built by the property owner (Oso), a direct descendant of Dr. Herff, an early settler to Boerne in the 1850's. The rustic, craftsman-built cabin sits on an 85 acre historic ranch and wildlife preserve, located just 2 miles from downtown Boerne Square. The cabin is a bit quirky, and definitely an experience, yet has all the comforts you will need for a relaxing stay with friends or family! Please read house rules before booking.
