Accord River House

Welcome to our house in the woods! 12 acres surrounded by trees and above a series of waterfalls along the Stony Kill, which runs all the way from Minnewaska State Park through our property and into downtown Accord. You can sit in a hammock outside, soak in our hot tub while listening to the river, or chill out inside with some tunes or the TV projector. Budding entomologists will enjoy the endless procession of bugs, ants, spiders, ticks, and other creepy-crawlies that is part of River House.

Sleep upstairs under deep-set skylights, observe wildlife out our large picture windows, or daydream on the hammock. On a clear night, stargaze through the tall trees while toasting marshmallows fireside.

Our property boasts unparalleled views of Greenwood Lake and the mountains beyond. Our private garden features hundreds of plants and a seasonal waterfall cascading into a lily pond with fish and frogs. A shaded patio offers panoramic views and a gas grill. Guests get access to a private community beach. In winter, after skiing at nearby slopes, unwind in the claw foot tub or retreat to the cozy living room, with exposed wooden ceilings, fireplace, smart TV, record player and board games.

The Equestrian Suite at Lambs Hill is a private estate with panoramic views overlooking the Hudson River & downtown Beacon. This beautifully-designed luxury suite sits atop a barn home to Icelandic horses & miniature donkeys, & features an outdoor hot tub, red light therapy, gourmet kitchen, & wrap-around decks. 1 mile to Beacon's Main St, 2 miles to Metro North train station & DIA: Beacon. We can host a max of 2 guests & have some dangerous features for kids so guests should be adults only.

Renovated barn in Mountainville, NY at the base of the Schunnemunk hiking trails. 1 mile from Storm King Art Center. 3 miles to Cornwall. 10 minutes from Woodbury Common Premium Outlet. 15 minutes to West Point. Private stairs & balcony leads to 500 square foot second-story space. You get the entire upstairs to yourself. The NYS Thruway does run between the house and the mountain. There is highway noise. TV has a ROKU. The WiFi signal is weak due to the metal siding on the barn.

Explore the Shawangunk Wine Trail, hike Minnewaska, sip cider at Angry Orchard, visit The Walkway Over the Hudson, or sample and shop the areas diverse farm stands and breweries. There is so much to see and do in the Hudson Valley and our cabin is close to it all!
