Waterside Retreat on Oulton Broad -Suffolk.

The Boathouse is a single story building in a contemporary design, close to the main house with a shared garden going down to the waterside of Oulton Broad. Oulton Broad, has a variety of places to eat, a museum in the park and boat trips. Carlton Marshes is a stunning nature reserve and cafe. Lowestoft has a sandy beach with several cafes on the promenade. Southwold is a picturesque coastal town, a 25 minute drive away and Beccles, a beautiful market town on the banks of the river Waveney.

Annex in the Woods on the Broads

Ours is a quirky home, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a lounge (with wood burner)and kitchen diner. The Annex is nestled in the woods conveniently located for the broads, Beccles, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Our closest beach, Gorleston is a 10 minute drive away. In a very peaceful setting, we hope you will be able to unwind and relax. The Annex can be arranged as 2 superking bedrooms, or 1 superking and 1 twin. With your own entrance you will be totally independent.

A night at the museum.

A unique space in a detached timber building arranged as a "Cabinet of Curiosities" (BEWARE Some are quite scary). The space is heated by a wood burner. There is a sleeping loft with double mattress, It has WIFI. pool, sauna and hot tub. An adjacent building contains a shower room/toilet and small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The View is located within ocean glade at the beautiful Azure Seas holiday park, within walking distance to the beach, woods, Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, and nearby pubs. The view is a perfect base for many attractions on the east coast.

We would like to welcome you to The Folly, your cosy woodland retreat away from the stresses and strain of modern life. There's plenty to see and do with access on foot to the local woodland and beach walks. Keep an eye out when you boil the kettle you just might see a wild Muntjac deer pass by....or hear the hoot of a Tawny owl as you fall asleep. Please be aware in the summer months the local amusement park is open and may be heard during the day.
