Donegal Thatch Cottage

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Loughanure in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. This cosy cottage with lots of character is in the perfect location for exploring Donegal with Errigal mountain, Glenveagh national park, boat trips to the islands of Gola, Tory & Arranmore and the white sandy beaches of Carrickfinn all easily accessible by car. The Crolly Irish Whiskey Distillery is 2 km away where you can go on a tour & tastings. Tours take place on the hour from 11am - 5pm.

Jackstown House, Crolly, Co. Donegal

Dia Daoibh cairde go leir. Hello, you are all very welcome to Jack's Town House in peaceful Meenaleck, Crolly Co. Donegal. This family home was original built by Tom and Anne Doherty. A couple native to the local area, who like many people from Co. Donegal emigrated to Glasgow, Scotland in the 1930s. Upon retirement the couple returned to Irish soil. Building thus house to enjoy their golden years, breathing in the beautiful clear air and peaceful tranquility of Donegal.
