Also, there is a short drive of approximately 4 kms to Normanville and Carrickallinga Beach, or maybe you prefer to ride or float your own horse down to the beach instead, the choice is yours!

Take a swim in the pool, cook a BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine under our 170 year old pepper tree.

Maunder Cottage Aldinga Township

We recognize the Kaurna people whose land holds our little cottage. Situated in Aldinga Township Maunder Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage that is self contained. It has one bedroom with Queen size bed. It has a fully renovated bathroom with a deep bath suitable for two people. The walls in the lounge room are made from limestone dug from the property. The building itself used to be the vets. We live in the house adjacent to the cottage. Our home was built in 1842.

The Retreat is located on the tranquil north side of Hindmarsh Island. Enjoy elevated views from the large windows towards the river with a backdrop of pine forest. There are 3 well appointed bedrooms - 5 beds, full bathroom, ensuite with washing machine, kitchen with dishwasher, spacious open plan family/dining area, large TV, and undercover outdoor area with BBQ. Fire Pit. Enclosed backyard. There is reverse cycle air conditioning and heater for your comfort.

If you're looking for a home away from home Mae’s is for you. Close to the river and within walking distance to Main Street and cafes. She’s not fancy but she’s clean and recently renovated with a beautiful big gas stove and a homely feel. She is over 100 years old so the doors stick from time to time and the wooden floors may creak. The house is professionally deep cleaned after every guest. House is not suitable for small children under 5 years of age
