There was an issue with the water well. The maintenance guys were there within the hour to resolve the problem. Which wound up being an issue with the pump itself. The well company was very prompt and fixed the problem. To have them pull a well, on Saturday before Easter Sunday, on short notice, was impressive. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you

We loved out weekend at the cabin. Located just up a hill from the beautiful St. Francis river, the cabin was comfortable and had good amenities. Had all we needed to make a good dinner on the grill. Beds were comfortable even if one was not quite long enough for an adult. The best thing was the nature, the solitude and the river. A very short drive to small towns with restaurants. Only 10 minutes to Millstream Gardens. A great value.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Romantic Getaway cabin. From the moment we walked in we knew it was special. The warm bread was a welcome treat after a long trip and the bed was the best we’ve ever slept on away from home! Thank you so much and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

We had an amazing time at Bertucci’s cabin in Arkansas! The location is easy to get to, and the cabin itself is cozy and full of charm. Nick is hands-down the best host you could ask for—super welcoming and helpful. He even has an amazing book! The night skies were absolutely breathtaking, perfect for stargazing. The pond was a hit with everyone, especially with the free kayaking available. My personal favorite was the shooting range—such a cool feature! The kids loved being out in nature, feeding ducks, and exploring. The trails around the property were beautiful and full of unique rocks, making every walk an adventure. And don’t even get me started on the hot tub spa—pure bliss! One small issue was some other guests arriving with loud, off-leash dogs, which made things a bit hectic. But aside from that, the experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to enjoy nature with a few awesome extras!

This is a great place! Our favorite things are the view, the direct access to the river, and the hot tub. Boat access for the river at Sneed's Creek access is a 1/2 mile down the road. The bird and nature watching is high level. We saw bald eagles, kingfishers, otters and even heard wild turkeys on Sunday morning. Great place to get away for our family of five plus two dogs!

My partner and I came for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The lake was beautiful, Lesley and the lodge staff were very friendly, and the hot tub was so nice to have access to. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking another stay at least once a year if not more. Thank you! 😊

This was a "coming home" trip for me, as I'd moved from the area a year before. I was looking for a cabin that allowed me to have my dogs and also had an enclosed deck, where I could allow them to lounge with me without keeping them on a lead. I spent most of my time on the deck enjoying the view and bird watching.The cabin is decorated in black bear cabin theme, just like the cabin I owned in the Ozarks, so I felt right at home. The enclosed deck is off the master bedroom and I awoke the first morning to a beautiful moon hanging over the wonderful view of the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed to feel nice and cozy. The road leads to the boat dock is very busy, so there is a lot of traffic. I don't like a super firm mattress and the beds in the cabin have very hard mattresses. The Wifi is also not very fast and I found myself tethering to my phone most of the time I needed to be online. But my experience was very nice and I would rent the cabin again for any future visits.

We had a great stay. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend! We will definitely book again when we are visiting.

Four nights & we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The location is beautiful & peaceful. Michael is very friendly & was always available, but was also considerate & gave us ample privacy. The cabin was extremely well maintained & cozy. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t available. I would recommend the cabin to anyone & would love to revisit if we’re in the area again. Truly a great spot. Best Airbnb I’ve stayed at.

Mountain View is a special town. My family and I visited during the flooding and tornado outbreak. Although we were limited on things we wanted to do due to the storms and flooding, Carey accommodated us and made sure we were comfortable. Both her properties are on beautiful locations. We will be back soon to visit Mountain View. The scenery is beautiful. The people and things to explore are awesome. My family fell in love. Hoping the community is recovering soon from the flooding. ❤️

Our second stay at this beautiful hidden gem was yet another successful family vacation. Kathy and Robert are such amazing and generous hosts. Despite several challenges that arose such as a hurt elderly dog and several damaging storms that knocked out power, Kathy and Robert jumped into action without missing a beat. They made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed every moment of our stay. Whether it's a peaceful retreat or a family glamping experience you're looking for, this place offers so many options. Hike, bike, fish, and explore their private piece of Midwest wilderness. You can't beat the experience for this price. Myself, my husband and our two little boys enjoy this place so much, it will be a yearly vacation to look forward to. We already miss the sites, sounds, and lovable pups. And if course our fabulous hosts who are now like family. Until next year....

Clean and beautiful cabin! Beautiful landscaping and surroundings (SO many butterflies) with lots of room. I loved having a mountain right out the front door while also being able to watch the cows, feed the horse down the road and hear the rooster in the morning. Super friendly neighbor and close to town. Super comfortable beds and linens! Would love a coffee table in the living room and a better recliner but great cabin overall and very roomy for 3 or more people. Will definitely be visiting mountain view again.

The place was exactly what we needed and had plenty of space for us to spread out. Beds were comfortable. Loved having laundry available.

This is my new favorite spot! the cabin is so beautiful with all the amenities you could use to be comfortable, it was better than being home.. The bubble bath with the view was amazing they even have a heater installed above so you stay warm in and out of the water!! The land it sits on is breath taking we saw a pair of bald eagles flying every day right at the edge of the cliff and it's a spectacular view. deer come right up to the cabin as well so if you enjoy the outdoors and peace this is the place for you. it's very private and there are two towns within 20 minutes and no expensive tourist prices just cute tiny towns. The bigger Rolla is less than an hour for more city like entertainment but I prefer the short drive down to the river where you can swim in the springs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The host was so kind and quick responses for any questions we had. This is the ozark experience and I'm so thankful for my time here. can't wait to come back!!

Everything we expected. Worked great for our Thanksgiving!

We had a great stay. Cabin was cute. Owner stopped by and introduced himself. Very friendly. We didnt have any issues with check in or things not working. Just be aware at this moment the road has larger rocks and it was a very bumpy ride. We have verizon and had just enough signal to text, make a call and look things up online that we needed to. Overall great stay!

This place is amazing !!! We spent our days by the water & night by the fire. We played card, dominos, & read books. It was a nice family getaway where my son spent majority of his time fishing or having me paddle him around to get better fishing spots. It was a much needed break away from the city!

Quiet, secluded and peaceful. The pond is so pretty! The cabin was amazing, sparkling clean, very well stocked, and super easy to find. The bed was so cute and quite comfy, complete with extra pillows! The water pressure in the shower will knock your socks off!! There are even 2 bbqs, both gas and charcoal. I can't say enough about the peacefulness. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the expansive deck, listening to the crickets, birds, frogs and squirrels was beyond relaxing! The beautiful fall colors were in abundance in late October with so many different types of trees on the property. James was an amazing host. He responded within seconds if I had a question. He was super accommodating too! There is plenty to do within a few miles of the cabin. Montauk State Park is just a short drive with amazing fishing and hiking, and the towns of Salem and Licking are very close (Salem even has a Walmart). The options for restaurants for any meal are abundant in both towns.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s property while hiking the nearby state parks and national forest. The cabin had all we needed and was very clean. Perfect location and beautiful wooded surroundings. Very peaceful.

WE really enjoyed our stay. The only downfall was we couldn't stay a little longer. Very nice quiet, peaceful. Great view from the porch. Julie and Paul are great hosts and asked us several times if we needed anything. Thay contacted me while in route and gave us the lockbox code. Easy check in, clean, decor was great, stocked kitchen with everything you needed. WE will defiantly stay again when time allows. I consider them as friends!

Absolutely amazing experience! Peaceful, beautiful riverfront access, all things needed were supplied kayaks, tubes, fishing poles, chairs. Also provided was everything you need for an awesome bonfire.Lynn and her husband were so friendly and helpful in all aspects of the history of our vacation spot. I love the fact she attended this camp as a child and has the privilege of owning it and sharing it with others❤️ we will definitely be returning for another amazing getaway and will definitely be spreading the word to all we know!
