Si tratta di un antico palmento, che è stato recentemente ristrutturato in modo conservativo, cioè lasciando intatte tutte le caratteristiche funzionali: il pavimento in pietra lavica della camera da letto, le tipiche scale interne ed esterne, le botti con i loro rubinetti; ho scelto di lasciare in vista per i miei ospiti anche numerosi oggetti tipici della lavorazione dell'uva, quali i grandi mestoli e i panieri in vimini. Il palmento è stato arricchito dalla presenza di un grande camino che è a disposizione degli ospiti. Completa l'ospitalità la possibilità di utilizzare i grandi spazi esterni intorno alla piscina dove si trovano il rigoglioso giardino di mandarini e la doccia. Si forniscono anche bicchieri, piatti, stoviglie per potere consumare semplici pasti freddi.

Il palmento si trova all'interno del parco di una villa storica; perciò quando si è in casa o vicino alla piscina si gode di una serena tranquilità. Appena si esce dalla proprietà, che è recintata da un alto muro e al riparo dagli sguardi estranei, ci si ritrova nel centro di Mascalucia: negozi, supermarket, ristoranti, pizzerie e gastronomie di vario genere.

Sie mieten unserer Torzimmer im Ostflüel des Schlosses. Das Schloss blickt auf eine 800 Jahre alte Geschichte zurück und ist DAS Wahrzeichens Bad Hönningens. Schloss Arenfels liegt mitten in den Weinbergen. Der Wald, die Weinberge und der Rhein laden zum spazieren und wandern ein. Der Ortskern ist fußläufig innerhalb von 15 Minuten erreichbar. Nach Bonn und Koblenz sind es mit dem Auto 30 Minuten. Aber auch mit der Bahn kommt man halbstündig sowohl nach Köln/Bonn, und nach Koblenz.

Das Hotelzimmer ist insgesamt 55 Quadratmeter groß. Es besteht aus einem 36 Quadratmeter großem Wohn- & Schlafraum sowie einem 19 Quadratmeter großen Badezimmer mit großer Dusche. Für Tipps zu Restaurants und Ausflügen bin ich jederzeit erreichbar. Bad Hönningen is a small city directly located on the river rhine between Bonn and Koblenz. The room is located inside a castle on the second floor and comprises room for a 180x200 cm bed for 2 people. Additionally it is possible to put two more mattresses in the living room for children (or else). The bathroom offers a huge shower and a bathtub. Towels, sheets and shower gel will be provided as well.  However there is a huge free parking lot next to the castle which can be used for free. The castle of Bad Hönningen is a perfect starting point for nature trips such as hikes or walks as it can be directly found next to the famous ''Rheinsteig Wanderweg''. Hier befinden sich auch die Bad Hönninger Rheinwiesen, die zum flanieren einladen. Im Nachbarort Rheinbrohl lag einst der nödliche Beginn des Limes. Einer römischen Befestrigungs- und Wehranlage, die seit 2005 UNESCO Weltkulturerbe ist. Hier gibts es auch ein interessantes Museum.

At an altitude of 35 meters above sea level, el Mirador overlooks the flight path of aquatic birds as they ride the thermal to traverse from both bays all day long to feed. To get to it you must go 60 steps up from the main house. It is worth the going up the steps. The pool is located in the front of the property and is shared by the main house and 2 other units on the property. It has air conditioning, fans and lots of spectacular views along with a small kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator.

Just a short way down the hill you will find 5 restaurants, a supermarket, bike, golf carts and car rentals. Most importantly, Flamingo beach with its pristine white sands. There are great restaurants in the area including Coco Loco on the far end of the beach, tours and water sports. A short drive away you will find Potrero, Surf Side & Brasilito neighborhoods which also have a handful of restaurants. About 30 min away is Tamarindo where you will find surf camps, lots of water activities as well as a little night life if that's what you’re into. (A small note about COVID restrictions - There is a 9pm closing time in effect for all establishments so please keep this in mind when dining out or traveling to Tamarindo)

We are conveniently located near Old Town Fredericksburg with easy access to I 95 for DC or Richmond trips. There are many walking trails nearby and you can see bald eagles, osprey and herons. We are listed with the Virginia Department of Historical Resources as "Castle Manor" and provides a private setting and beautiful views of historic Falmouth.
