Your adventure begins here! This quaint little cabin is located on 6 peaceful acres adjoining thousands of acres of the Ozark National Forest. The only neighbors you'll see are the cows in the neighboring field. This location is perfect for hikers. It's close to the following trails - Glory Hole, Whitaker Point (Hawksbill Crag), Lost Valley, and Alum Cove. It's also a great location to see the Elk in the Boxley Valley or canoe/kayak the Buffalo River (water levels vary throughout the year).

Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

The cabin offers a main level bedroom, 1 bath and a very large loft area with another bed and sitting space. Get away and unwind from it all at our private little cabin tucked away off the beaten path on 80 acres of wooded serenity in the Ozark mountains. My husband and I have enjoyed this cozy, peaceful cabin for several years until we built our new cabin home next door. We absolutely love this place and confident you will too! We are off Hwy 327 about 3/4 mile down a gravel road. 4x4 or all wheel only to prevent spinning uphill. The cabin is 8 miles from Jasper and 2 miles from Parthenon.
