Visit us at our redwood homestead to experience modern country living. Our cabin is nestled between tall groves on an acre of land just outside of town. We have chickens, a koi pond, fruit trees, and are surrounded by an abundance of wildlife. Both the National Park and ocean are less then a 10 minute drive away, making this the ideal spot to recharge in between adventures. Fully fenced and next to our Little Community Park with Redwoods all around you.. We offer fresh eggs, bagels and homemade jam to enjoy during your stay. We look forward to hosting you!

The day ends differently here. The sun drops toward the Pacific, the light goes copper, then pink, then impossible shades you'll never forget. Sunset Sanctuary sits on a bluff above Preston Island. Gray whales pass during migration—you might catch spouts from the living room. Inside: wood stove, piano, vinyl records, books, games. Beach access one block away. Jedediah Smith redwoods 30 minutes north. Three bedrooms, two sofa beds, one air mattress, two baths, sleeps 12. Pets are welcome.
