We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Everything went as described and the place was in a great location for what we wanted to do. Easy to find and getting in was a breeze. No issues whatsoever. Loved the restaurant right next door. Great meals and plenty to eat. Would definitely stay again.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

Loved this stay! So close to a beautiful beach entry with super amazing tide pools. The house was so nice, clean and cute! Easily checked in late at night and no crazy checkout list which was a bonus. Would love to stay again.

The apartment was extremely convenient for our purposes (ie, leaving and driving to a park to hike all day). It's right on US101 so there is road noise, but Brandee provides ear plugs. We spent very little time in the apartment, so I can't speak to its comfort-level other than for sleeping (which was great).

Very cute airbnb with a lot of care and detail put in. They were very thorough and thoughtful with providing suggestions in their binder, laundry supplies, a few snacks, and clear instructions for entering. Definitely worth the stay:)

What a wonderful place! The interior decor was a nice mix of modern yet cozy. The living room is very comfortable (nice TV and several soft blankets to use) and there's a full dining table. The bedrooms had a lot of storage space and the bed was very comfortable. Both bathrooms had lots of storage space and a nice shower. The view from the kitchen and front porch was amazing, and the kitchen had everything you could want with very nice appliances. While there is some traffic on the road in front of the house, it really didn't detract from the beautiful view. You can walk across the street and down some stairs and be on the beach. It was a short drive into town for restaurants, groceries (Safeway) and the parks visitor center. We enjoyed meals at Fisherman's Restaurant, SeaQuake Brewing, and takeout pizza from SeaFront Baking Company (which is also a bakery). All communication with Janice was friendly, helpful and prompt. We would definitely recommend the Ugly Marlin!

If you are looking for making some amazing memories this is the place. This house is INSANE! Nothing else like it. I spent time in the eagles nest looking out of a telescope 🔭! The lighthouse is out your bedroom window! Games, condiments, hot tub, zip lock bags, ping pong, Ms. Pacman, to name just a few things I thought were amazing to have in the home. I loved how I had never been in a home like it ever. My dream home.

We had such a wonderful time! It was our first time to the pacific coast, and with the most perfect magical gateway to the beach directly from the property. The neighborhood was quiet, the beach was so much fun and beautiful! Two cities to enjoy just a short drive away!

Great location near Jedediah Smith and Prairie Creek State Parks. Amazing ocean views. Fit our family's needs.

Nick was a great host, super responsive and easy to work with. The house is a charmer, the cozy kind like your grandma's. Right across from the ocean, the view and the setting are spectacular! We had a wonderful time.

This property lives up to its reputation. It's a bit more than I would normally spend, but I have ZERO regrets. I was surprised at how much I liked Crescent City, too. Super friendly people. If I can, I will absolutely rent this place again in the future. I loved the amazing beach access and perfect view from spotlessly clean windows. (Beach rentals frequently have cloudy, spotted windows which impede the view. NOT this place.) The living room is like an infinity pool into the ocean. The property has everything you need and more, with thoughtful additions everywhere. Spectacular location, garage with easy access; nice laundry and beautiful, well-stocked kitchen; heated floors in the bathrooms and lots of clean, nice linens, including white bathrobes and big towels to use when going to/from the awesome hot tub. The only nitpicks I can come up with are that the guest shower was kind of small and cold, and the bed in the main bedroom was a bit creaky. Still super comfortable, though.
