We had a wonderful few days here! It was nice and cozy for our young kids and small dog. We enjoyed exploring Idyllwild and the location was great! Would stay again!

Excellent stay in this delightful cabin. The cabin was as described and was clean and very functional. What a treat to stay in a real log cabin! Only negative was that you are by windmills which means that there is a lot of WIND, which is not host's fault. The wind would howl at night so if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs! The wind made everything harder, fire pit wouldn't stay lit, it was super cold getting to and from the hot tub, and even my luggage rolled off the deck! Overall we enjoyed our experience and felt the hosts were very communicative and kind.

My wife Labri and I loved Meri’s cabin. It was the perfect place for a nice relaxing weekend away. We felt right at hime from the second we arrived. The soaking tub is super nice and a perfect place to wind down at night. The square hammock is a great place for star gazing. We didn’t end up using the firepit due to high winds but I’m sure it would be nice. The cabin has everything you need for a romantic getaway. The dirt road up to the place is very bumpy and you have to go pretty slow so be prepared for that. I recommend you bring all the food and drinks you need so you don’t have to go out a lot. The cabin is only 30 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park, which is a must see. All in all the place is perfect and highly recommend you stay here.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Joshua Tree. Check in was very smooth and easy, and our host was quick to respond. The jacuzzi was warmed up and ready to use when we got there. The bed and sofa bed were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed!

We had a wonderful stay. The fenced, MASSIVE backyard was fantastic for our dogs—they had the time of their lives. The interior was very spacious and perfect for our party. The game room with the ping pong table and projector were so much fun. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely loved this home! Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and the home was exceptionally clean and cozy! Amenities for us and the dogs made it extra special. The hikes and the village were a quick drive from the home and very convenient for our spontaneous outings. The games and hot tub made it a relaxing night in after a long day hiking. Can’t wait to return soon! Thanks for everything!

My son and I have been visiting Idyllwild a few times a year since he was a young teen. We've stayed all over town, and we like Astrid's best so far. We came this time to lock ourselves in for the weekend of Alien Day (iykyk) to watch all of the movies. I chose this place because of the living room and TVs, and my son loved bringing his vinyl to spin. It was perfect for our niche trip. The photos don't do the place justice. It's cozy and interesting and filled with cool little details in each space. All of the instructions are clear, and Astrid is beyond helpful when answering ridiculous little questions. From the windows we saw deer families, chonky squirrels, and a very proud blue jay. At dusk, we heard the adorable clicks and commotion of resident bats. Astrid's place is perfect for families, couples, grown siblings. It's got great common areas and private rooms. A fantastic place that we will stay in again as soon as we have a chance.

Sandra’s place is amazing. It’s perfectly located giving you easy access to town as well as multiple trails for hiking. The hot tub is great, fireplace is easy to use…. The place is perfect. She’s also thought of everything. From leaving flashlights, head lamps, dog poop bags, lint rollers… anything you need, it’s there. I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

Perfect place to land after backpacking! Easy to get to, close to town while feeling a million miles away! The place was cute and comfy

Stayed in Idylwild for 2 days, decided to stay at Mark's place (Cabin C). The cabin was clean and as described. We were out most of the day and simply needed to a place to sleep and still have the ability to cook something small if needed, Mark's place had all we needed. The Cabin is perfect for a minimalist. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay while exploring the area. Definitely would book Mark's place again.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines! The cozy cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. The backyard is a huge blessing and allowed us to have some time together without our pups. Jay is a kind person and welcomed us when we arrived. We are hoping to make this an annual trip! Thank you Jay 🐾

We enjoyed a cozy place in a winter wonderland. It felt secluded but we were a short walk to town. Can’t wait to come back.

This place was a hidden treasure. We felt like we were staying in a tree house. Very beautiful surroundings, up in the trees. We had everything we needed in the house including many games to play and the host left us a bottle of wine, which was a thoughtful gesture. Would highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy hiking, going into Idyllwild, or just relaxing amongst the trees.

Lisa and Ryan were excellent hosts! A cozy and beautiful home in the mountains. The area was peaceful and it offered a nice view.

Thank you so much for letting my family and I make a home out of your cabin for a few days! We celebrated our youngest daughter’s 6th birthday while we were there. Just got back from a wonderful girls’ weekend away at Heather’s cabin—we all really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything we needed, and very clean. The location was perfect for us, on a quiet, walkable street that is just a few minutes’ drive in to town. The living room was somehow simultaneously super spacious and cozy for us to all hang out in. I may have to come back sometime during slightly warmer weather so I can really enjoy the screened-in porch and its gorgeous view.

Beautiful location, excellent cabin. Anita was very responsive, helpful and kind. Everything was exactly as described/pictured, all amenities were great, close to town and stores, provided items were perfect and thoughtful. Can not wait to visit again!!

Had a wonderful stay at Erin's Stargazing Boat Escape to Avalon. The name says it all. It was literally a stargazing escape on a boat to paradise. The place was so beautiful. From the awesome interior design of the house to the amazing backyard, you can tell Erin put a lot of thought and love in making this place special. I wish i had more time to enjoy everything. I will definitely be coming back. To top it all, I saw my first shooting star while laying on the boat. Wow!

Our stay was magical. The cabin was immaculate and beautiful. We felt right at home and loved our time in Idyllwild.

Communication was clear, and Elena was always responsive. The home is beautiful and clean. The kitchen has all the amenities for a good morning coffee, or an eat-in dinner. Home temperature is easily controlled. The heated floors in the bathroom is a luxury touch. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us.

What a beautiful and peaceful home! We had the most relaxing week surrounded by nature and peace. Slow mornings on the sunny patio, bird watching, and beautiful walks. The WiFi is extremely fast and reliable. Highly recommend for anybody who has to be on nonstop video calls. This little cabin was like cream for our souls.

This was a great weekend getaway for my partner & I! This air bnb has everything you could need & is in such a great area! Near to downtown Idyllwild & lots to do. Highly recommend this place & we would come back in a heartbeat!
