Wantabe Ranch, settle in for a peaceful evening

This is a working Texas Longhorn Ranch, this apartment is separate from the house, with entry private. Has a small wet bar, Living area looks out to pasture and has a sleep sofa, small kitchenette, with refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. Bathroom has shower big enough for two. The ranch has a private gated entry. We are a working ranch so if you inquire and we don'trespond for 6 or 8 hours it is noisy on tractor and around cattle so be patient. Welcome Snow birds and Europeans .

Bask in nature with a large deck, hot tub, fire pit, grill, outdoor shower and a 1 acre stocked pond. Bernhardt Winery is less than 1.5 miles away and the Renaissance festival is under 10 miles away. Our guest can use the whole pasture and woods area as well have access to the fishing pond w/ kayak.

The Dairy Barn & Parlor

Set on 12 acres this secluded little house is the perfect get-a-way place to enjoy some down time. Close to fishing at Lake Conroe this cottage serves also as a central point to enjoy some of the local wineries, visit historic downtown Montgomery, explore the Sam Houston National Forest or spend time at the Texas Renaissance Festival which is only 20 minutes away. The physical address and entrance road name has changed several times in the past few years so the GPS address may not work.

The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

‘Haus House’ Studio is a 440 sq ft standing alone bungalow in a very quiet location yet close to all lake activity and great places to eat. The studio has a queen bed, wardrobe, living area, tv and WiFi. It has a kitchenette with a dining table for 2, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a nice marble shower. There is an outdoor seating area for down time and relax. While we live on the property, you have your own privacy, but if you need us we are close by.

Indulge in serenity and relaxation at our waterfront paradise. The Lake Cottage is in a serene neighborhood with lake access right out back. The view of the lake from outside and inside the cottage is breathtaking. The neighborhood is walking and biking-friendly and has multiple lakes and parks. Catch-and-release fishing is allowed, and fishing poles and gear are available on-site. The cottage is minutes away from popular restaurants and shops in Historical Montgomery.

The Happy Place 16-Ft Glamp Tent - Electric & A/C

Brand new tent! Welcome to the Happy Place at Outpost 203, Plantersville, TX! This 16-foot glamp tent (with electric, A/C, queen bed/futon/decor) will surely take the hassle out of camping. Sleeps up to 6. It even has a k-cup coffee machine! Come "rough it" with us at our primitive camp in farm & ranch country. 7 miles to the TX Renaissance Festival entrance. 40 minutes NW of the Greater Houston area. Where the TX Hill Country meets the Piney Woods Region.

Houston Hobbit House

This hobbit house, belonging to a little hairy footed fellow, has a life long journey of accumulating artifacts of the wonderous eras of ancient. You will find a vast collection of books both rare and of great value to feast your imagination and curiosity. This cozy haven, though adorned with swords and weapons of the great heroes of old, serves as a reminder that it is the little things that keep the darkness at bay, “small acts of kindness and love”.

This mini-apartment is in the top section of a barn and you may have to duck your head. There is a queen-sized bed and an additional mattress for someone else if needed.
