A great base to explore this incredible area and then relax after a busy day of hiking, beaching & enjoying the local hospitality.

Room @ No. Two

Boutique accomodation minutes from the village. Room @ No Two is a private guest room and en-suite. It has gorgeous sun and relaxing views overlooking lush green countryside. We provide tea, coffee and muesli. There is a small fridge to keep your market goodies chilled. You’ll have your own private access, car park, a lovely bathroom, TV and Wifi. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind.

Views and convenience at Snells Beach.

Our space is great for travelers who enjoy wineries, breweries, cafes, beaches, walks, cinema (boutique), Saturday markets, Goat Island and a variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have a great new grocery shop and a local pub within walking distance.

We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

This centrally located apartment built in 2023 is just a short stroll from all that Matakana has to offer. Walk to the markets, movie theatre, shops and restaurants or nip directly across the road to 8 Wired Brewery. Everything is at your fingertips. Escape and relax at Matakana By The River, a new guesthouse that overlooks the Matakana River and is located behind the Matakana War Memorial. The property's iconic white gate leads to shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, cafes and the Saturday Farmer’s Market - all within short walking distance. Please note that we accommodate adults eighteen years and over only.
