Step into the story! This authentically restored 1550's castle takes you into its colourful history and let's you feel the motto of the founding Fogartie clan: Fleadh agus Fáilte! Be prepared for a real castle: despite the modern comforts, there is nothing faux or 'manor house' here. Quiet but not isolated, this castle is easy to get to from Dublin, Shannon and Cork. It's a great place for a family reunion or central base for trips to golf courses all across the country. Experience the spirit!

If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Tom Rocky’s Farmyard

This old farmyard has undergone a beautiful restoration. The open space & scenery all around here is stunning, with the Devils Bit mountain as a backdrop. It is a really peaceful spot. There is a large, enclosed yard space and an open shed area with lights & seats, and a roofed kids play area. The old market town of Templemore is a 4 min drive, boasting a beautiful town park with woodland walks & a lake. We are just 12 mins drive from Exits 22 or 23 on the M7 Dublin-Limerick motorway.

Babes Cottage

Our cottage is nestled in the beautiful Slieve Blooms mountains. This cottage boasts a traditional thatched roof surrounding by fantastic countryside. The cottage features two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up hearty meals with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Warm up by the fireplace in the inviting living room, where you can curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV.

Bellefield House and Gardens

Bellefield House and Gardens is a unique home, situated in the heart of Ireland. Lovingly and tastefully restored by its former owner the renowned architect and garden designer Angela Jupe. Both house and gardens have been carefully upgraded while retaining their period charm. The house is situated down a private drive and guests will have exclusive access to the 2 acre walled garden and be able to stroll the 20 acres of grounds that surround the house.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

We are happy to welcome you to stay at our bright comfortable self catering apartment conveniently located in the midlands. Situated 2 min from Exit 23 off the M7 Motorway on the outskirts of the village of Moneygall where the pub and shop are within walking distance. It provides a wonderful base for exploring the heart of the country while also allowing further journeys to some iconic tourist sites.

Ecovillage Cloughjordan & Ryder cup availability

A bright, quiet and cosy apartment conveniently located in the heart of Cloughjordan Ecovillage. The apartment is just a few minutes walk to the village pubs & shops and to Cloughjordan House wedding venue. Cloughjordan is approximately a 40 min drive to Adare. The apartment has a double bedroom and a private living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
