We really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to friends! Beautiful house and furnishings in a peaceful bush setting, and the location was a short enough drive to the coast that we could visit a different beach every day. Sally was a lovely and generous host, who made us feel very welcome. Special highlight was the bush tucker walk!

Views and outdoor area are better than the photos. It is very beautiful. The bathrooms are new and nice. Kitchen has everything. We really liked that it is obviously someone’s holiday house and not just to rent out. Great for kids. Some little quirks but these had really clear instructions (like turning on outdoor lights) and the host is responsive. It was expensive but we went on Easter weekend so I understand that.

I had the most wonderful stay at Melanie’s place in Doonan. The house was absolutely incredible, beautifully designed, spacious, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to unwind and relax. Every detail felt thoughtful and inviting, from the cozy interiors to the peaceful outdoor setting. It truly felt like a home away from home. Melanie was a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

What a lovely 3 night stay we’ve just enjoyed at this beautiful cottage! There’s a peaceful and happy vibe to Anna’s place. You can constantly hear beautiful bird song around you and waking up to see the cows and horses through the window was so special. Our 4yr old son had the time of his life feeding and patting the horses and became best friends with Charlie the cat. The cottage is neat and clean with comfortable beds and the shower had good pressure & was spotless. Both Anna and Scott were incredibly friendly and close by if needed. We would love to return!

What a lovely little village. Lots of walking, biking, craft and home design shops. A couple of amazing restaurants. Artisan bakery. Great pub meals. John’s house was perfect for our family. Spacious and comfortable within a 7-10 minute walk of the village square. We were attending a country wedding and had plenty to enjoy across the whole weekend. Definitely recommend for a weekend getaway. Pre book myrtille restaurant as it is booked out well in advance.

Was a great stay at Louise’s place. Calm and quiet and it was a nice drive to get there too. Place was clean and comfortable. Louise was very good at responding to any questions and let us check in couple of hours early. Thank you

Branka is amazing! The place is beautifully decorated and when I left my bridal bouquet on the table on the way to my wedding, Branka personally rushed it to the venue herself to be sure that I had it. Thank you so much Branka!

The house is everything as described! Very secluded and quiet. Loved waking up to the cows ride outside, seen from the kitchen windows. Home was clean and comfy. The glasses and cutlery were left a little dirty - I’d put this down to previous guests trying to clean their dishes.. not very well. Luckily we were driving a 4x4 as access over the creek into the driveway was very steep and a bit broken away but it was all apart of the fun experiencing the country life. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! The bbq was used every morning and night, lit a few fires in the fireplace and the fire pit outside. It’s about a 20 minutes drive into Maleny - which we made everyday to visit the shops and local attractions. The Sunshine Coast hinterland is absolutely beautiful and staying in the off grid cottage felt very dreamy.
