The place was clean and comfortable in a good location I wouldn’t say it was best for long stays because of the lack of utensils but that’s because I was with a baby if it was me and a partner it would be perfect … the host was amazing she met me on two occasions at the drop of a hat and gave me my first ride on a scooter she was very friendly and supportive I wouldn’t say book again thank you

Vesper’s place is right in the heart of the Old quarters. For first time visitors to Hanoi, this place offers the best launch pad to explore the surroundings. Location : There are tons of shopping , food and sight seeing options. Everything is walkable. The best part is you can just walk around , shop and then go to the room to take a short break before setting off out again in the evening. It doesnt get better than this. Room : The beds are comfortable and the living space is cosy enough for 4 adults to sit and chill. Most important for me was that the AC worked really well & the bathroom water pressure was just right to relax a nice shower after a long day Host : Vesper is kind, friendly and gave us a lot of flexibility around our check in times and accommodating a friend last moment. She was quick to respond and help us with directions and other helpful tips. Verdict : 12/10 will recommend to stay here for your Hanoi sojourn

We had a great stay at Kim’s place. It was clean and very well located in the centre of Hanoi. Kim was very friendly and always responded promptly.

Le logement est très bien situé dans un quartier très agréable. Il y a plein de restaurants/bar à proximité, un super café au pied de l'immeuble. Le vieux centre est à 20/25min à pied et à 10 minutes en voiture. Huy est un super hôte, très réactif en cas de besoin. Petit point négatif c'est qu'il y a peu de vaisselle à disposition donc pas évident de se faire à manger.

We spent three weeks in Vietnam and I think it’s fair to say this was one of our favorite spots! Charming, very well described, quiet in the middle of an extremely busy neighborhood, and walking through the long tunnel before the house is safe and completely unforgettable! May was a great host, extremely helpful and she did an excellent job of describing how to find and get into the house. I highly recommend reading through all these very helpful reviews, they really gave me a sense of the neighborhood and the safety of the tunnel! The spot really is a cozy refuge!

Nguyen & the Homestay CHAT Team have a really created a special oasis above a noodle shop in the middle of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Check in was SO easy and they provided instructions for everything you could possibly need. Having a washer, drier and TV was super handy and well maintained. The entrance to the building was full of character and we looked forward to chatting with the ladies downstairs who were warm, welcoming and funny. There are so many great coffee shops within 1-2min walk including Aha which we went to each morning. The aesthetics of the room were beautiful, cohesive and comfortable. The air con worked great, street can be loud but that is also apart of the appeal of Hanoi so if this bothers you bring ear plugs! :p The natural ponds were as pictured and we loved watching the fish and hearing the roster that lives next door in the mornings. If you want a more authentic stay full of charm in the heart of the Old Quarter you can’t pass this place up! 🥰
