Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Quinta das Fontainhas. DOURO VALLEY is situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. Guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire property and the breathtaking scenery that will make for a unique and relaxing stay. The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. There are two outdoor patios, a large stone table and a barbecue. The swimming pool is set in the vineyards.

Quinta Vila Rachel - Winery - Flora House

Quinta Vila Rachel is located in the Natural Park of Vale do Tua, in the heart of the Douro Region, with an activity focused on wine tourism and the production of natural and organic wines. Our Farm offers its guests an organic pool where they can relax enjoying the unique landscapes of the Tua Valley. The Farm also have wine tasting activities, where the latest harvests can be tasted, as well as visits to the cellar and vineyards, where the organic and sustainable production is practiced.*

Une maison restaurée offrant tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable et/ou des retrouvailles en famille ou entre amis. Située dans un ancien village abandonné, près de la rivière et d'une jolie petite: vous pourrez y observer des loutres, de nombreuses espèces d'oiseaux, etc. La maison dispose de deux chambres, d'une salle de bain, d'une cuisine entièrement équipée et de la climatisation. La piscine est partagée avec une autre maison. Les repas sont disponibles sur demande

House in Organic Winery- Qta do Vilar Douro Valley

The “Casa do Feitor” is a part of an old house in Quinta do Vilar, located in the Douro Valley. You'll be surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. There are farm animals and a mediterranean forest with oak, cork oak and arbutus trees. This is an eco-system which we look after with the utter most love and respect. It's our mission to honour, regenerate and preserve this system by respecting its identity including all the elements which take part in it.

Loja da égua

Era aqui, que em tempos do meu avô, se alocava a égua que ele montava quando ia às feiras a Vinhais, ou a tratar deoutros assuntos do casal um casal em Vila Nova da Rainha. A égua era um animal elegante, de cor castanho arruivado, que me fascinava, sempre que eu ia esperar o meu avô, nas suas idas e montadas. Houve certamente cavalos, burros, mas a minha memória vai para essa égua maravilhosa, a cavalo da qual fui para Vinhais, fazer o exame da então 4ª classe.

Casa dos Coelhos | Country House&Landscape

The gorgeously designed house is located in a generations old family property and derives from the reconstruction of an ancient haystack made of stone where rabbits were once bred - hence its name (“Casa dos Coelhos” stands for “House of the Rabbits” in Portuguese).
