Sequoia National Park is up the highway, about a 45 minute drive to the entrance and about 90 min to General Sherman Tree. Truly the perfect place!

We are a husband and wife team who grew up in the city and had dreams of owning a place where we could welcome friends, family, & maybe some animals! When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! This is our guest house located on our 10 acre horse ranch in the foothills North of the small town of Woodlake. The house is located on Colvin Mountain which gives you great open views of the valley below and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We do have horses and friendly dogs on the property. Our guest cottage is an architect-designed tiny home for 2, in a peaceful rural area. It is just 28 minutes from beautiful Kings Canyon National Park. There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around the property and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip . Great coffee 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)
