Soap dispenser in the shower. Makeup wipes provided. Charging station and WiFi porter. Charging outlets in all bedside tables.

Welcome to our Family Lake House Retreat, located on Johnson Lake where you can relax, have fun and seek adventure. A newly renovated home, waiting for your family to enjoy the backyard. Sit under the covered seating area and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner and then relax by the firepit and enjoy the stars. The walking path and playground are both within walking distance and just a few minutes to the public dock and rental store for bikes, jet skis and boats. A perfectly located get away!

Rustic Cabin Retreat

Quiet, secluded area has occasional wildlife (turkey, deer). The Turkey Creek runs behind the cabin, and there is a very small pond in the front of the cabin that can be fished. There's a kid's "fort" to the west of the main cabin for the kids to enjoy! The fort has a space heater, a loft with a futon, and a smart TV (no TV service) that can be used for streaming if you want to use your phone’s hotspot.. The cabin has no TV service or internet service.....thus the beauty of this retreat!!

Relax with the whole family (or friends) at this peaceful, spacious home located in a quiet cove right on Johnson lake not far from the Marina. The home features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a huge dining area with a beautiful kitchen as well as two living-room spaces. The home can easily sleep 16+. There are also outdoor dining/seating areas as well as a bbq grill & fire-pit plus kayaks & a lilly pad to use. IF you prefer not to have the 4th bedroom/Husker family suite you can a reduced rate.

What started out as hobby, paired with Gothenburg's need for affordable lodging, has blossomed into a way for us to raise a little extra money for our daughters college fund. We are located just four miles from top ranked Wild Horse Golf Club, two blocks from Highway 30, one mile from Interstate 80, and three blocks from historic downtown.
