Filled with Balinese art & handmade solid wood furniture, this home is owned by a filmmaker who spends their time between Bali, Austin, & Fairfield. Plenty of space for entertaining, a chef’s kitchen and even its own yoga studio (note: this is listed as the “gym” in photos — yoga mats/no gym equip). This stylish sanctuary is perfect for family, group trips or just a private getaway in this sweet little town. There are 2 extra futon beds that can comfortably be made up in yoga room upon request.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Perfectly situated walking distance to the MIU Campus, Everybody's and walking trails, our cozy and beautifully appointed, East facing chalet will have you starting each day with a smile on your face. With off street parking, this single story home features a fully equipped kitchen and laundry with dedicated ironing board. Perfect for short or long stays. The home is renovated but old - uneven flooring and imperfect finishing work.

Studio 55 at A Stone's Throw

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This studio has parking right to the front door. It has an open kitchen into the spacious living room. A macrame room divider divides the living room and king size bedroom. Enjoy sitting on the patio and watching the sheep and horses in the pasture. Attached to A Stone's Throw, the option of renting both units make for a great reunion weekend. Lots of special touches, including Granny's cookies, will make you feel pampered at Studio 55.

Located in a designated railroad quiet zone with train noise well muted inside for a comfortable stay. Note: the washing machine and dryer are in the basement.

Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.
