the cabin was absolutely perfect! great views and you felt right in the middle of nature...but the BEST part was that only an 8 min drive down the mountain was a super walmart. Perfect to get things to cook on the wonderful grill that was there and smore ingredients to use at the fire pit. Down town blue ridge was only a gew miles further than that so the location was perfect. The place was extremely clean and felt very homey. The jacuzzi, solar lights and deck down to the fire pit look like recent upgrades. This will definitely be our new go to home away from home when we go to Blue Ridge.

A perfect place to have a peaceful weekend stay and not too far from downtown Ellijay.

We had a great time at Sunny Side Up Cottage! The entire cottage was so cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend in Ellijay. Driving from the cottage to the downtown area was just over a five minute commute. We had great food at River Street Tavern and Butcher and Bottle in addition to tasting delicious ciders at Reece’s and beers at Cartecay Brewing. We were in town to visit family and had a great day trip in Blue Ridge riding the train and doing some shopping as well. We didn’t have great weather during our stay, but being able to sit and listen to the rain fall was so peaceful. The outdoor deck area was awesome and very serene. The driveway is steep and it is a little tough to see when it’s dark out but we did not have any issues getting in or out. Kimberly sent clear, detailed instructions and was very quick to respond to any questions. We would love to stay here again next time we are in town! Thank you!

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Point. It was easy to find and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. It was exactly like the photos —very clean, cozy & had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We really appreciated the welcome note & snacks too. It’s located in a great spot that is quiet & peaceful, but still an easy drive to downtown Ellijay (grocery, restaurants & shopping). We had a great time hiking on a nearby trail, visiting some local wineries (Roo Mtn was our favorite), and exploring the beautiful scenery around Ellijay & Blue Ridge. Such a great place to relax & unwind. We highly recommend Blissful Point & would love to stay there again.

The cabin is beautiful and feels like home. With amazing views, the feeling of being deep in the woods, and all of the amenities this place was just what we needed for both a relaxing and adventurous vacation. We loved the decorations and enjoyed ourselves in the amazing game room downstairs. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck while taking in the views and there was even a private hiking trail on the property. It is also very close to other hiking trails and waterfalls in the area, as well as close to shopping and dining in Ellijay and Blue Ridge. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was great for what we needed. Relaxing! My favorite part was listening to the birds outside. There was a Cardinals nest right behind the hot tub. Pretty neat. The drive to the cabin was beautiful!

This was a nice little peaceful spot, close to town and very cozy home for the weekend. It had all the essentials, good AC, a comfy bed, and a great location. There's a full kitchen, everything is clean and well decorated and there's space enough for 5 adults and a pup. We loved our time in Blue Ridge!

The place was very peaceful and quiet, a short drive into town. The house was clean and well kept. The owner was quick to respond and very accommodating. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it for anyone wanting a getaway to the mountains.

Wow! This is hands down a fantastic spot to escape the busyness of life. The drive from Atlanta is manageable, making it an easy getaway. The city of Ellijay may be small, but it’s packed with charm. Don’t overlook its great food options and fun, unique shops. The nearby wineries are within a short drive and add a delightful touch to the trip. The house itself is vibrant and full of character, perfectly complemented by a stunning natural backdrop that immerses you in the beauty of Mother Nature. Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend stay! The property is well maintained and clean. The kitchen is extremely well-stocked; and the extras such as makeup remover wipes, and plenty of washcloths, towels, and blankets were nice touches. We would definitely stay here again! The creek is beautiful and so peaceful.

Second time staying at the property and my dog loves it! The yard is great and the cabin super cozy with all the amenities you need for yourself and your furry friend.

We had a great time time at Lane’s cottage. Lane is a fantastic host, she responded quickly to all messages I sent during our stay. The cottage is beautiful, updated and very clean. I will definitely return when I’m in the area again. Definitely a great place to spend time with family or friends!

this is epic!!! not really mobility impaired friendly, however my husband could still get around with a walker and assisted by myself. he LOVED this place. magical! the living room furniture was cute but not extra comfy for a big guy like him. otherwise this place was one of the best on the east coast!!

Loved! The cabin was exceptionally peaceful and relaxing for a weekend with my bff and we’ve already started planning when we want to come back again. It was less than two miles from Serenity Spa where we had services scheduled, so the location was also perfect. Julie was an excellent host, and we lacked for nothings I highly recommend this cabin.

This place was amazing. Erica was very friendly, responsive, & her recommendations were spot on. This location is walking distance from several restaurants and shopping places. Anywhere I went in the vicinity was within 2/3 miles. Home very clean and the backyard/balcony was amazing. Definitely will book her place again in the future.

Beautiful cozy cabin, lots of deer all around!! Had deer grazing 20yds from the hot tub while we relaxed in the evening!!! Only advise is to use waze app to find the cabin. Google maps wasnt working well and tried to take us way out of the way! Susan was very responsive to answer questions! Thank you for a great stay! We would love to come back again!

Heather’s place was exactly what was needed and as was described! We were in the area for a weekend of venue tours and its location was very convenient. Less than 10 minutes away from downtown blue ridge too! She has everything we needed, we did not need to ask for anything additional. The beds were super comfy and toiletries were provided. We loved Red Door Cottage. It was an excellent location, cozy space, and we felt right at home. We parked on the street in the free 3hr daytime parking area directly across from the cottage and took our chances like other reviewers had done, and also never received a ticket. This was my first time staying in downtown Blue Ridge (usually I’m in a cabin in the mountains) and this little cottage was the perfect location since we planned to spend our time relaxing and enjoying the town, highly recommend.

Cartecay Cottage was a great place for a long weekend getaway. Being right on the Cartecay River was a perfect spot to enjoy the rushing water.
