Built in 1870 and thoughtfully restored in 2024, it offers a modern kitchen with an oversized island, spacious living room, and two cozy bedrooms with custom made barn doors. Situated in the heart of Keosauqua, you’ll be walking distance to restaurants, shops, and city park. Enjoy an afternoon fishing at Lake Sugema or exploring the historic Villages of Van Buren County.

Enjoy an exclusive view of the River, the FM Train Depot and Old Fort Madison from this 2nd floor true-studio apt. The space has modern décor and all of the comforts of home. Railfans will enjoy the trains and river fans will enjoy the unique east-west river movement. There will be train sounds! The space comfortably sleeps two adults in its queen size Murphy bed. You’ll love it because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the river views, privacy, peacefulness and close to everything.. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was build around the 1940’s . If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment then you’ll love it. There is a dock on my property, but it is private and not for guest use.

Private Woodsy Cabin close to River and Keosauqua

Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Tree of Life River Retreat

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). There's a private bedroom with a queen bed and another sleeping area with four twin beds, perfect for one person or a family. Relax, enjoy nature, and take advantage of our large backyard. We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

Welcome to The Fleetwood Inn! A charming, cozy one-bedroom bungalow in the heart of Burlington, Iowa. Right between our bustling business district and our nostalgic downtown, this little house has vast character. My favorite feature is all the original built-ins and beams. You will love the Western American inspiration and vintage finds, modern touches throughout, and dreamy details in every corner. Just added a Saatva Organic mattress for extra comfort.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
