This was an unforgettable stay in many ways! First of all, the location. Yes, it is remote but you get so much in return. Peace, serenity and surrounded by stunning nature. The lodges (there are only 3) are clean and spacious with some really nice details and cosy interior. It does get quite warm during the nights in summer. To cool off we loved enjoying the plunge pool or the outdoor shower! But Sydney - who basically takes care of everything when you’re staying at the lodge - made our stay even better. He works hard, always with a big smile and so kind.

This house is so well-established that it welcomes you home straight away. If there’s a next time, I’m looking forward to wandering around the farm with my dogs and then coming home to thoughtful comfort.

The place is absolutely stunning. Very clean very well maintained with ample parking the town its self is very friendly and very welcoming we will defiantly visit again. Amazing views all around.

We enjoyed our stay at Fox Den. The hosts Cecille and Rowan were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early evening and Rowan suggested a quaint restaurant for dinner. The unit itself was clean, had all the necessities and we were pleasantly surprised by the added touch of breakfast cereals, muffins and juice available in the unit. Thank you Mari Elize!

thank you so much Esther and Bernard ! your place is just Haven ! so beautiful and peaceful! we wished we have stayed longer to enjoy the company of the Antilopes and birds living around the cottage ! The cottage is very clean and spacious , with lovely bedrooms and very clean bathrooms too, a nice patio for eating outside, and plenty of games too. We had a lovely stay at Goshen guest farm. The kids had so much fun kayaking and fishing and it was lovely to be off the beaten track. Beautiful stars and night and a comfy bed with all the amenities we needed. Alex was a superb host!

Dusty Vines is an incredible place to stay over. A well restored heritage building, neat , clean and tastefully furnished. very spacious with space for large families. Well located along the best street in town opposite the Karoo Artists Cafe. Carin who manages the house was so welcoming, warm and friendly. A great experience and a wonderful town to visit. Michael.
