Cyclists can also challenge themselves on the many hills around the area, including the infamous Stwlan Dam climb. Local attractions such as Zip World, Antur Stiniog and Llechwedd Slate Caverns are a few minutes away. The cottage is also ideally located for visiting nearby Porthmadog and Betws y Coed.

Luxury barn conversion attached to our house. Situated close to the A494 for easy access to Snowdonia National Park but set in an acre of gardens surrounded by open countryside . There is a hot tub and outdoor shower with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, fire pit and pellet pizza oven. Underfloor heating throughout. Bedrooms have smart tv and 4g WiFi. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track. A characterful original slate miner’s cottage dating from the late 1800s. Located in Tanygrisiau, just outside the historic slate-mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the cottage is a short walk from local shops, amenities and the village pub. A narrow-gauge heritage steam railway runs along the bottom of the garden and can be seen from all rear-facing windows. Ideally placed for Llechwedd Slate Caverns, zip wires, mountain biking and mountain walks.
