Exactly what airbnb is meant to be...clean private room, perfect to learn the Fijian culture and super cheap. Amo and her family took care of us and were our local guides for anything that we needed - ordering a taxi, arranging rides, going shopping or getting some great ice cream in town. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic village experience, a budget stay in Taveuni, or a place to just feel at home 😊

I had a wonderful stay at Bethel Haven! The location is fantastic, just minutes away from the town and shopping center, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of activities. The host was exceptionally helpful, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Die Familie von Luisa hat uns sofort herzlich aufgenommen. Luisa hat für uns Abendessen gekocht, richtig gutes Fidschiessen. Tom hat uns die Gegend gezeigt. Luisa war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühls und empfehlen die Unterkunft von Luisa sehr.

Vinaka, Willy for a wonderful stay! We had a great time! The location was excellent, such a beautiful part of the world. Welcome to campers paradise! This stay isn’t for everyone; you will be living in an ‘off grid’ bure, situated on the top of a cliff looking down on the local village. It’s set up on solar battery power with sufficient lights in the house and on the deck - bring a torch for the outdoors. Fresh rainwater a plenty, and a stove to boil your own drinking water if needed. Cold bucket showers to wash off the hot day and afternoons embracing the local way of life. Remember to bring plenty of the essentials you may need (mozzie spray, environmentally friendly soap, rain jacket for the boat ride etc) as this is as remote as it gets! Willy was a great host; very easy to communicate with prior to and very attentive throughout our stay. Willy ran some excellent activities like snorkelling near a sunken volcano and fishing for our dinner. Hope to be back soon, Meg and Justin

We enjoyed staying at Surya's place, it is very spacious, and we felt welcome with the tea and coffee available and nice vegetables given to us from the garden.

Beach front Bure, set in lush tropical surroundings. Beautiful mature trees on the property and palm trees surrounding the pool. We love the timber and stone work which is very in keeping with the natural environment. Special thanks to Lo who looked after us so well and the lovely chef Toni both who went out their way to make our stay special. Was wonderful having free use of the paddle boards on the water each day. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. A quick 2 minute walk to the supermarket if you need it and our room had a fridge & kettle in it. The bathroom was fabulous with a double shower and lots of beautiful shells collected from the beach. We loved having breakfast on our veranda overlooking the sea teeming with life below us. A fantastic place to stay.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at this charming Airbnb! It was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect-close to the main road and Sigatoka town yet peaceful. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a delightful getaway. We can't wait to return! Vinaka Vakalevu!

Kunal’s place was clean and new, situated in the town center of Ba. The apartment provided everything we needed. Kunal was very responsive and kind, the check-in went smoothly and he gave many useful recommendations about restaurants and other necessary things. I highly recommend his place to anyone traveling to Ba!!

Host was very responsive and provided spontaneous information concerning weather conditions and effect on roads in the area which was very helpful since there was some bad weather one day. The apartment was convenient yet tucked away. The Nadi area is sketchy so it was nice to feel safe. The airport is near so there is some noise associated with it. The floor plan was great with lots of space! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved staying here! Jing was very responsive and willing to help anytime I needed it. The space was very clean! Not too far from great things to do, but you may need a car. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Nadi! Thank you again, Jing!

Jing and Dan were very friendly and welcoming host. They also were able to let us check in early and provide lots of helpful information about getting around the city. The place was clean and as described in a very peaceful location with a 30 minute walk to the beach.

From the start, Kulae provided clear and friendly instructions on how to treat the home - which is important, as a homestay is a personal space and not a hotel. Respect and kindness go a long way here, and you’ll be rewarded with a truly local experience. One of the best parts was the dinner - highly recommended! Her husband Net is a professional cook, and the meals were absolutely delicious. You can also choose to have breakfast, join tours, or arrange pick-up/drop-off, but everything is optional and there’s no pressure at all. If you’re looking for a place with genuine hospitality, cultural insight, and great food, this is the place to be.

I had a great stay. Alice made delicious meals and shared her experiences with me. Her son Dominic is a great tour guide. He took me to waterfalls and it was a beautiful place. It’s totally worth to visit there. I’ll definitely book their place when I come back. Thank you so much!!

If you have come across this place, count yourself so lucky :) The whole community were so welcoming. The environment is beautiful beyond belief with the most stunning sunrise and luscious greenery. The work they are doing is inspiring, and the knowledge they are willing to share is invaluable. The farm tour will forever be one of our travel highlights. The food is next level. Also .... there is hot water in the shower! The room is basic and yes there are bugs and frogs, but you are in rural Fiji! The bed is perfect to rest your head and a beautiful deck to soak in the views.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Alice und Dominic war einfach nur traumhaft. Was für ein wunderschönes Haus, das so viel Charme, Geschmack und Geschichte verströmt und das so viele Entdeckungsmöglichkeiten bietet. Es war einfach nur wunderbar ... so wunderbar wie auch unsere Gastgeber. Alice ist für mich der Inbegriff eines Superhost: Sehr aufmerksam, sehr empathisch, immer ein paar schöne Worte auf den Lippen und eine Seele von Mensch! Dominic, ihr Sohn, hat uns vom Fährhafen abgeholt, uns die Stadt gezeigt und erklärt und uns versteckte Winkel der Insel gezeigt. Zusammen sind Alice und Dom die besten Gastgeber, die man sich als Reisende wünschen kann ... nicht zu vergessen Alice's Kochkünste, die man einfach erlebt haben MUSS ... Es gibt nicht viele Restaurants in denen man die Küche von Fidschi so schmackhaft und in dieser Qualität genießen kann. Wann immer ich wieder nach Fidschi komme: Ich werde auch wieder bei Alice und Dom in Levuka wohnen. Herzlichen Dank für ALLES! Es war uns ein Fest!

Words aren’t enough to describe how special this place is! Quite literally a paradise, beautiful to chill out in but also plenty of local (and epic) recommendations to explore more of the island. Bedelia and the Team made me feel right at home, were so incredibly accommodating, and constantly going the extra mile. It’s a true gem of a stay (I was recommending it to everyone I knew within the first 24 hours!), and the perfect way to see the real Fiji. Very grateful I came across this place, vinaka!!

Patricias place is the most welcoming fijian home. It is simple, but for us - this was exactly what we were looking for! As soon as we entered the door on our first day, we felt like family. We were having food together with her mum and the kids, talked about everything and anything and spent an unforgettabe and lovely time at her place. We spent 3 nights there and enjoyed every minute of it. We definetly recommend the meal plans with amazing freshly cooked food. The house is only 5 metres from the beach and the views from the room are incredible with all the palm trees. We enjoyed a few extraordinary days in an authentic fijian home with a lovely family and some relaxing and beautiful beach walks. We had an amazing and unique experience we won't forget and don't want to miss. Thank you so much Patricia!
