Overall great stay, may not be for everyone with some of the hunting decor but it very much gives off cozy cabin vibes which more than accommodated for our needs. A full kitchen of pots and pans made it very easy for a great homemade breakfast. Had a small issue getting into the cabin initially but this would be an oversight on my end as Mike had put the enter/check-in code in the initial message with me. Would definitely book again! 5/5

We had a great stay here over the Easter holiday. The place is as listed and it was nice to have multiple beds available for each person. It is quiet, but not too far from town which was perfect for my family. The home is being renovated in places, but no issues that impacted our stay and we would definitely stay here again when in town. I would recommend this to anyone asking for a referral in Quincy.

It was decorated for the season and overlooked the town square which was also decorated for the season, and where there was a holiday celebration while we were there. Wonderful stay

The cabin was absolutely perfect! Tammy has thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The setting is stunning—rolling hills and a peaceful lake backdrop make it ideal for reading on the porch, walking the trails, or just soaking in the view. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat. The cabin had everything we needed, and the nearby small town had just the right touches— coffee shop, pizza place, and a cafe. We would absolutely come back again!

My family of 5 spent 4 days in Kyle and Emily’s residence, which was amazing. The home had all of the necessary amenities, which was greatly appreciated. I found it very hard to leave the home at times, because it was so relaxing, from the beds to the reclining couch. I would definitely recommend this house if you are visiting the area!

We took our mom on a weekend getaway for her birthday. The Rose Cottage was perfect for us. So quaint and comfortable. The ease and walkability of the location is fantastic. We were concerned a little bit about the privacy and possible street noise but that was completely unwarranted. As soon as we got inside and closed the front door we were in our own little world. The hosts left a welcome letter and some treats for us when we arrived and they were very responsive with any questions. We highly recommend and will stay here again if we get the chance to. Thank you John and Sharisse for a fantastic weekend!
