Inside, Shepherd's Rest has a comfy double bed, sofa, foldaway dining area, modern en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and a log-burner, perfect for those cold winter's evenings. Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Our hand built bespoke huts offer a luxurious and spacious living space to relax. Quality fixtures and fittings feature throughout. Located in beautiful countryside, stunning views and its amazing wildlife can be appreciated in the daytime and star gazing at night. An internal bathroom with double size power shower will ensure a luxurious experience. Its character wood stove will keep you cosy all year round. Tom's Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, our luxury 16 foot Shepherd's Hut was built and professionally fitted in 2021. It has a shower room with WC, a log burner, fitted bed, kitchen unit with mini fridge and inside dining table. No cooker in the hut. There is a toaster and a kettle. We can provide a breakfast. Outside there is 16x9' external decking a gas BBQ for cooking,chiminea. Stunning views. The hut is on our own 3.5 acre smallholding . We do not allow dogs in the hut.

Woodland Hideawayhut, Wye valley Forest of Dean

Wyes workshops, Oak Cottage, Hideawayhut, nestled on the edge of the Hudnalls Nature Reserve, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra. Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire. Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.

Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Pink Lady Shepherd’s Hut at Harrys Cottages

Pink Lady is located in an apple orchard with stunning views over the countryside. Whilst (literally) in the middle of nowhere, it has everything you need for a memorable stay; superfast Wi-Fi allows you to watch a movie in the comfy bed. Although it’s a tiny space, it feels spacious with a proper mini bathroom (shower and flushing toilet) and kitchen (hob, fridge, kettle, and cooking appliances). The hut has an electric radiator & a logburner, so it’s perfect for a cosy getaway.
