Mafube Mountain Retreat is a secluded guest farm about 25 minutes from Clarens and is a hikers and nature lover's paradise! It is situated in a stunning amphitheater of sandstone mountains, is child friendly and has very well defined Dinosaur footprints a short hike from the chalets. The Garden unit is a small self catering unit with one bedroom and which has space for two children sleeping in the lounge area. It is surrounded by a wilderness area and with breathtaking views from every window.

DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

The arrangement is open plan bedroom/bathroom upstairs and closed bathroom downstairs. A minute's walk to shops and restaurants. There is an indoor braai which acts as a fireplace. Beth and I left an international corporate lifestyle in 2016 to farm on our 300 hectare farm in the eastern Freestate.Jacobrust farm is a working farm in the foothills of the Clarens sandstone of the Maluti mountains .We farm with olives and plains game. Traditional farm animals include sheep,chickens,ducks,turkeys and our free roaming pot belly pig Charlotte. We live environmentally friendly early to bed early to rise lives .
