We have a fully equipped kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking, one of Lake Placid's busiest restaurants is located right next door. There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. "Relax in cool comfort, quiet, restful beauty"...this is how the brochure read in 1948 at Split Rock Farm! Our goal is to restore these features for our guests in the same location. The cottage is attached to the original farmhouse, built in 1890, located across the street from the iconic Split Rock. It has been recently renovated with new flooring, new beds (1 queen, 1 full), cable TV and WiFi, washer and dryer, new electric stove, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen and dining essentials.
