Misty Ridge - Kennerdell Getaway

Silence and solitude in beautiful NW Pennsylvania. This lodge offers a breathtaking view off the back deck, 600’ above the Allegheny River. A beautiful interior with a rustic feel. Plenty of wood work and a gorgeous stone fireplace in the center of the living room. The house is located only 2m from a boat launch on the Allegheny River, yet just 10m from WalMart. Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

If you are looking for a secluded getaway with a large private deck overlooking the Allegheny River then this is your place. Whether you are looking to hike a trail in Clear Creek State Forest, ride your bike on the Allegheny River Trail, take in the view of Freedom Falls, or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature, there are an abundance of activities for you to enjoy in and around Kennerdell, PA. We are located 11 miles off of Interstate 80 & 12 miles off of State Route 322.

Cottage with Private Allegheny River Access

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

Sweet Solitude

This is tiny cabin in the country just off of a quiet, unpaved road. We have excellent neighbors, but none in sight of the cabin :-) Sometimes we just want to be alone. Sweet Solitude is a private place to focus on what's really most important, especially for couples. Our cabin locally sourced. The timbers were sawed at a local hemlock mill. The exterior is made of boards we had milled from old pines along US Hwy 322. Even the stones we laid for the fireplace once splashed in a local creek.

Rustic Retreat

Beautiful sunsets, relaxing atmosphere, and plenty of open space. Just a few miles outside of Titusville, this newly renovated one bedroom home offers a peaceful place to stay. The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a king bed, and a pullout sofa in the living room. A fire pit, firewood, and six Adirondack chairs are available for use in a private area behind the house. There is a large backyard with trails through the woods and around the field for guests to explore.

Built in 1872 Historic Step Back In Time!

Vintage Victorian home built in 1872 with a warm historic feel. Beautiful view of the Allegheny river. Kitchen w/island seating for 4 and two additional tables. Large formal dining room. Two cozy elegant living rooms. There are 2 full baths, 1st floor w/large walk in shower & 2nd floor has a bathtub/shower and a 1/2 bath off large bedroom. Plenty of towels & blankets. All essentials. There are several TV's that you can stream with the Wifi. Due to Covid-19 no more than 10 guests are allowed.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8 comfortably), living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (towels included), screened in front porch and a car port for your vehicle. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened in front porch. During the day you can fish, kayak/canoe, wade/swim or just sit and relax watching the water go by. Sit by a campfire in the evenings enjoying the fresh country air.
