Your accommodation overlooks the village green, and you're less than a mile from the beach!

Originally forming part of the historic Farringford Estate - the home of the famous poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson - the cottage nestles at the foot of the downs. It is located up a private lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within easy walking distance of Freshwater Bay, nearby shops, a superb cafe/bar and friendly pub

The Fort is surrounded by Golden Hill Country Park, located between the harbour town of Yarmouth and the village of Freshwater. 360 degree views from the communal roof garden stretch across the Solent, English Channel and West Wight countryside. This family friendly home away from home sleeps 7 in 3 double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and has a spacious open plan kitchen/living room.

We want you to kick back and relax in this calm perfectly located cabin. It is located 2.6 miles away to the historic town of Yarmouth and is on the Isle of Wight Cycle route and perfectly situated for the huge amounts of walking trails West Wight has to offer through countryside and woodlands, beaches and towns.

Tiny home-garden cabin near Freshwater Bay

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable king size bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

Rose Cottage is a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 5 plus infant) situated less than 5 mins walk from the stunning beach at Freshwater Bay. Close by is Tennyson Down with its stunning cliff top walks to The Needles as well as beautiful beaches at Totland & Colwell Bay. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden plus off street parking. Within short walking distance are Dimbola Tea Room, The Piano Cafe, Farringford House, The Albion, the bus bar and a visiting pizza van in the summer.

The Cabin - Freshwater Bay

This coastal retreat is tucked along a private lane oppositeFreshwater Bay - you can stay without relying on a car as the bus stop is on the doorstep. There are so many simple delights: sea swims, beach BBQ's, dramatic coastal walks, explore caves, discover rockpools, crabbing, fishing, hire a SUP, or a nature walk through the marsh – even a round of golf! The Cabin offers a relaxed base to explore the many charms of the island. Perfect for a romantic break or a week with the kids.

‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

Bungalow with Sea Views

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

Spacious 2 Bedroom Luxury Bungalow By The Sea

Relax with the whole family in our peaceful Bungalow. Spacious lounge area with Log burner for cozy nights in. Alternatively there are many welcoming pubs and restaurants nearby. Within an 8 Minute walk you can access the tranquil safe waters of Colwell Bay, and the island Famous restaurant THE HUT and THE WATERFRONT with its cinematic beach views. Also a short 5 minute walk to freshwater village where you will find an array of traditional shops and cafes.
