From Chofu, it’s just 4 stops(18 minutes) to Shinjuku by express train and 22 minutes to Shibuya. A calm, green area with convenient access to Shinjuku. I’m originally from Kyoto and have lived in this area for many years. As a local host living nearby, I’m always happy to be there if you need any help during your stay.

Also it has a Japanese style garden where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery just sitting on the tatami. The house is 25 min bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto. From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.
