A short hop from the bustling market town of Skipton with its medieval castle, shops & restaurants, Embsay is a quiet village bordering Barden Moor & The Bolton Abbey Estate and very close to The Tithe Barn. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs & a vintage steam railway station. Guests are welcome to share our garden.

Stepping Stone View is located in the beautiful village of Gargrave, overlooking the River Aire. The village has a handy shop, 2 pubs, tea room and Indian restaurant all within a couple of minutes walk. Situated on the Pennine way the village has great access to the Yorkshire Dales with Malham a 15 minute drive away. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 king-size and a twin. Downstairs you will find a cosy lounge with log burner leading to the kitchen diner. There is a generous garden with a seating area.

Skipton is an old, historic market town with castle - aptly named the "Gateway to the Dales" Skipton offers a superb base to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Swallows Nest was newly opened in Oct '22 and renovated to a very high standard. It is nestled in the quiet hamlet of Thorlby, just a short distance from the market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Come and take in the stunning views on your doorstep, watch the many garden birds visiting the feeder as you sit and have your morning coffee on the patio. The only thing you can hear is 'quiet'. The hardest thing you will have to do is decide what you want to see or do.
