The home is a short walk to restaurants, including the Double Musky (voted #1 in AK), the town square & Girdwood Brewery! The home has a BBQ, and a record player with lots of classic vinyl! Ride the Free Shuttle to take in many sights of the area such as; Crow Creek Mine, Double Musky Inn, Chair 5, Alyeska Hotel, Seven Glaciers at the top of the tram and many other hiking trails to use in the vicinity. Three decks to enjoy nature and take in the sounds of the river nearby. A jetted tub to soak your feet in at the end of the day.

Hiking, biking, or skiing are right outside the front door! The building is typically very quiet, making it great for families or travelers seeking a peaceful reprieve in the great little town of Girdwood. The space is ideal for 1-3 people but can accommodate 4. We hope you enjoy your Girdwood adventure as much as we do!

There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, and skiing from the house. Or, if you prefer to sit and relax and read a book, the view from the deck or living room couch of the Anchorage skyline and Denali/Mt. McKinley is spectacular.

Alyeska Slope-Side Sanctuary Ski-In Ski-Out

Our fully remodeled slope-side getaway is located at the base of Alyeska with gorgeous views of the mountain. Just a short 2 min walk from the ski lifts, the Sitzmark Bar & Grill, and only 1 min from the fantastic Jack Sprat restaurant, our location cannot be beat. The unit comes complete with everything needed to cook full meals, relax after a day in the mountains, and get a wonderful night's sleep to wake up refreshed for more adventures!

Woodsy ski chalet Girdwood

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene location. Perfect for that couples or family ski weekend get away. It’s a comfortable walk to the ski hill about 3 blocks. Two story chalet with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and one bathroom on main level and tv and games area up in the loft. In the basement of the chalet there is a mother-in-law apartment that has a seperate exterior entrance and is occasionally occupied by the owner.
