Lovely house in a quiet area, a close drive from Coles Bay ‘town centre’ and Freycinet National Park. House was spacious for a family of five and nicely furnished. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only things lacking (no criticism as they were not advertised as being available) are a dryer, wifi and a smart tv. Would be a perfect stay with these but, regardless, a lovely spot to stay.

Tess sent detailed and clear instructions well in advance of our stay and answered messages very promptly. Although the property is within a 5-10 minute drive of nice cafes and an IGA, the turnoff from the main road ascends 3km into eucalyptus forest to a ridge where there is no view of any neighbours. The house is surrounded in trees and has a view towards the sea and Maria Island. Both inside and outside, the house has hand-built original features and ambiance. The main living area runs the length of the downstairs: two sofas are in a bay- windowed nook on the side of the house next to another sofa facing the efficient wood heater with a backdrop of stone. This is followed by a family feel dining table with full length windows within easy reach of the well equipped kitchen at the other end of the house. A double bedroom is downstairs convenient for the bathroom & we found the bed very comfortable. There's also a spectacular double bedroom upstairs with windows facing the sea.

Elisabeth’s accommodation was just beautiful so clean and homely with plenty of space to spread out ..Loved the seperate sitting areas ..As we walked into the main kitchen living area all I could say was Wow ..it was all open plan and so tasteful decorated ..Just a couple of minutes to the beautiful Spring beach we loved a morning stroll then back there after lunch for lazing about and swimming …We returned late afternoon and got comfortable on the large deck at the rear of the home …The home had everything we needed for our 4 night stay could not be more comfortable…The large bathroom with the window shower was amazing and very private ..Our bedrooms were a great size very clean and comfortable ..We would definitely recommend Elisabeth’s accommodation we shall be returning for sure . One of the best decisions so far on our trip, stopping at Bicheno as base for our Freycinet park day trips. Just a quick 30min drive and Bicheno happened to be absolutely beautiful. Lee & Sophie's Ocean View Retreat was just incredible. Right in the outside of the city centre but only 4min drive to the shops, you're rewarded with a view that is difficult to beat! The peaceful atmosphere and all the amenities in the unit (cooking utensiles, laundry machine, etc) made this place somewhere where I would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone coming to Tasmania.

The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. The location is great, with a short walk through to the amazing beach. Was a little disappointing that breakfast was not provided as the listing included it and previous reviewers commented on how good the breakfast provisions were.

Place was a great house for the long weekend. Plenty of space, inside and out. Cooking and entertaining areas were well equipped. Walking distance to the beach and local cafe.

Excellent location qnd a great house with all the amenities

Lorne greeted us shortly after arriving, and was very welcoming and kind, she was also very flexible in what time we could leave the following day. The villa was perfect with an amazing view of Spring beach. I highly recommend this place.

A perfect spot near Freycinet National Park. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location for access to the park. As an extra bonus, we also found good eating spots nearby. Views from the front deck were spectacular, particularly sunset.
