River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Farm Stay: Vineyard, Animals & Room to Roam

Welcome to Orchid Hollow, our family farm and vineyard in the Virginia Piedmont. The carriage house awaits at the end of winding country roads and a long gravel drive. Start your day with coffee on the deck overlooking the vineyard as horses graze below. Spend the afternoon by the heated pool, or grab a fishing pole and head to our 5-acre lake for fishing, canoeing, or a pedal boat. End the day with wine by the lakeside bonfire as the sun sets and kids run free or swim in the color-lit pool.

Venson’s Getaway is a beautiful house that was recently remodeled into a comfortable and cozy getaway. The house sits on 30 acres of peaceful and private land, and in its immediate surroundings it has a nice patio with a fire pit and three grills, and a beautiful heated swimming pool that was also recently finished. The area is surrounded by nature, including a creek that runs through the property! It is also located 30 minutes away from Charlottesville (famous Monticello's location!)

Jones Creek Hideaway

Whether you're attending a wedding at a local venue or just looking to escape the city for a weekend, our place is right for you! Our property is located on 13 acres which means you'll have a peaceful and serene stay. The space is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home with an option to rent our apartment space for an additional 1 bedroom 1 bath (also listed as Jones Creek Hideaway on Airbnb). The Mill at Fine Creek is located 5 minutes away and downtown Powhatan is just 12 minutes away!

You're more than welcome to access the swimming pool in the spring and summer time it will be closed in fall and winter. I have goats and chickens that you can walk up and pet. Along the woods are blackberries that bloom from june to July your more then welcome to pick them. I have dogs that stay in a fenced area will bring in for your privacy.
