River's Edge - Private Suite

Our home is located in historic Louisa County in Central Virginia on a five-acre wooded lot facing the South Anna River. Richmond is 30 minutes away and Charlottesville is less than an hour. The entire lower level of our home is used for the Airbnb. (We live in the upper level.) The decor is "homey" with some personal items. Children, pets, and smoking are not allowed. The internet is fast and cell phones work with WiFi calling. Food deliveries are not available due to our remote location.

Outdoor parking is also available. Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

Come and enjoy the peaceful life that Goochland has to offer from it's trails at Hidden Rock and Leakes Mill parks or bring your canoe to the beautiful James River boat landing at Maidens. Take your own Goochland wine tour and visit Byrd Cellars, Grayhaven and Elk Island wineries, or our local Hill Top Distillery.

Venson’s Getaway!

Venson’s Getaway is a beautiful house that was recently remodeled into a comfortable and cozy getaway. The house sits on 30 acres of peaceful and private land, and in its immediate surroundings it has a nice patio with a fire pit and three grills, and a beautiful heated swimming pool that was also recently finished. The area is surrounded by nature, including a creek that runs through the property! It is also located 30 minutes away from Charlottesville (famous Monticello's location!)

The Home Stretch

Welcome to "The Home Stretch", a beautiful quiet place in the country just a few miles from Short Pump (which has great restaurants, Golf Courses, Drive Shack, wineries, Breweries. Our second floor apartment features a private entrance with all the things you may need while you are away from home. It has a spacious living area, eat in kitchen, queen bed and 2 trundle-like twin beds. We are on the premises but not in your space at all. Available day and night should you need anything.

The lofted ceiling is open and airy while the dining/kitchen area on the lower level is cozy an intimate. The Rosalie has a private entrance, parking area and private deck. New Fast Internet makes this an all around best of both worlds connectivity and rural setting. I welcome like- minded guests to come relax and recharge.

Located at Mount Bernard Farm which is a 130+ acre historic river front property along scenic River Road West and the James River. Need more room?
