With the Bay of Fundy within view, the highest tides in the world can be heard caressing the shoreline and, when foggy, the Quaco Head lighthouse fog horn echoes it’s warning to fishing boats in the bay. Cozy, comfortable, peaceful and quiet, it's a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the area.

Black Bear Lodge

We require 24 hours notice when booking. The lodge is 15 minutes from Fredericton city limits in Noonan approximately 2 km in the woods on a private road. It runs on solar and wind power with backup generator. We offer skating, snowshoeing, hiking and boating depending on the weather. Fishing is also offered at an additional cost. There is a stand up shower and sink in the bathroom with hot and cold water as well as a toilet, a propane stove and fridge in the kitchen. Woodstoves for heat.
