Absolutely brilliant weekend with the wife, just what we wanted, a quiet peaceful getaway, secluded with privecy, very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was lovely and clean, all the essentials needed if wanting to cook etc, we opted for a local takeaway one night, menus in the cabin or use just eat etc, then hit Leeds the next day, I would highly recommend to anyone, and I would stay again, if you like glamping, this for me is 10 times better, no other pods near you, pure bliss with lovely surrounding views, especially on a night, the cabin has lights around the top, the hot tub has lights, and all you can hear are the birds, all in all it was a fantastic experience and Lee was always at hand for anything we needed, and answered any questions swiftly, I'd recommend to anyone without a second thought and plan to return again in the future.

We loved our few days in Pamela's cottage, the location is ideal for walking into Bakewell as well as driving to other places to visit, such as Chatsworth House which was wonderful. Pamela was an excellent trend lunch considerate and attentive host, answering any questions efficiently and checking in with us during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this cottage for a short stay in Bakewell.

Perfect Getaway at Fox Cottage! Fox Cottage at Blakelow Farm was the ideal spot for two couples and our dogs, Ernie (the sausage dog) and Ralph (the cockapoo). The cottage was spotless and cozy, with plenty of room to relax. We had a great BBQ and loved the private field for the dogs to run around in. The walk to the pub through the fields was lovely, and Gina and Andrew were fantastic hosts—plus, the hens made a fun visit! Highly recommend for a peaceful, scenic retreat! PS - amazing welcome basket with fresh bread, free range eggs (guessing from the hens outside the cottage) and posh mini shower gels, other essentials and much much more.

Great property with everything we needed for an overnight stay as part of a bigger trip. The accommodation is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the shower is ace. Excellent use of space and we enjoyed reading about the history of the building. The outdoor areas are well landscaped and we love the greenhouse and the rooftop terrace. The hot chocolate station is a neat idea and we liked seeing the art when we pulled the bed down. The location is ideal for Buxton, Solomon's Temple, Lud's Church and the wider Peak District. We didn't need to use it on this occasion, but the electric vehicle charging point is useful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

We had a lovely stage at the Swiss Cottage which felt very cosy and warm. It was very clean and tidy. Was very comfortable with all amenities. Felt like home away from home! Really great location. Lots of shops, restaurants on the main road just a few minutes walk away and there was also a playground close by for our little girl! Places we visited were easy to get to from the cottage. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

A great short stay at this lovely cottage. Fantastic views and a cosy feel. Location was very convenient in the village very near to the fabulous pub and lovely walks. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay and were blessed with the most beautiful weather. The location of the cottage was ideal and the lounge and garden enjoy spectacular views over the valley and hills. The accommodation makes maximum use of the space and is functional and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and the convenience of shops, pubs and cafes only minutes walk away made the location ideal. Parking outside the cottage was a little tricky and we were happy to use the car park at the top of the village, only a few minutes walk away. The suggested rates are minimal and can be paid online or via an honesty box.

A lovely cottage in a charming village. The driveway for parking is a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen (hob, cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer); excellent shower and very comfortable bed. It's worth bringing some logs for the wood burner making for a cosy evening. Several pubs within easy walking distance with excellent beer and food. The local stores and very nice high class bakery and deli a short walk away. Many fabulous country walks immediately from the village and more a short drive away.
