Jeff was an excellent host- very clear and communicative and easy to get ahold of. The place was better than expected! My family enjoyed a week on the lake here and took advantage of the beautiful sandy beach as well as the paddle boards and kayaks offered. What a comfortable stay with everything you could need!

My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed at Amanda's for a week stay. It was a lovely cottage, very comfortable and cozy on a beautiful lake. Having access to kayaks canoe, paddle boat made the stay great, along with the hot tub was a great bonus. The cottage instructions were helpful to better plan the trip, and Amanda and Cindy were very responsive. A lovely stay for some rest and relaxation with family.

Jeremy's home in the Kawartha's was absolutely perfect for our 2 families and young children. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home! The property is stunning, nestled amongst the trees, though wide open and bright- there is generous deck space, a lawn for kids to run around on (as well as a zip line, swing and hammocks!!) and a sweet meandering path that leads to a quiet lake and dock. The home itself has a comfortable, spacious and relaxed vibe. It's mid century, art filled and modern. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for creative cooking, and the amenities in general are generous- from board games to water sports, sauna and hot tub. While there we had rainy days and colder days, but there was always so much to do and explore that every day was rich. This home would also be a perfect winter getaway.. maybe one day!

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house. It was a great location to walk out ice fishing and check out the Haliburton forest with the family. The cottage has everything you need and more. Coffee, sugar, salt, pepper,etc. all the little things you don’t really want to pack when you’re going away but want/need. Two bedrooms upstairs with the living area and a downstairs bedroom with washroom and sitting area. Was nice to have the separate living quarters as we stayed with our in-laws. Offered some separate time if you wanted. Wood fireplace was enjoyable during the evening. Snowshoes provided were an added bonus, we were glad not to have to pack ours. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for another winter trip.

Our stay at Suzanne’s place was perfect. We’d love to make it an annual tradition for our family. We’ve stayed on Boshkung Lake previously but being on the little side inlet was even more peaceful as there isn’t as much boat traffic. The house is as described and we really appreciated the baby gear so we didn’t have to pack as much!

Cute and very rustic cabin for our little kids and dogs. We happened to be there during extreme snow and weather so less to do locally as our little kids did not like the minus 20 feels - but we found puzzles games and toys inside to keep us busy and the nearby town of Haliburton had a Vintage Cafe which was awesome for hanging out and having some warm food and drink. Olga left snowshoes for us to use so my husband and I took turns trekking about. Nature surrounding is beautiful. Nice break from the city. Thanks Olga!

We took a few days to experience winter wonderful and we got this at this lovely cottage. Coming from the GTA area, looking for a peaceful cottage, this was a welcoming space. We thank Chris for allowing us to decompress and just enjoy a bit of winter before spring comes!

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

We spent 3 amazing nights over New Year's at Lyndsays cottage my wife and myself and our 2 dogs. From our first interaction to our last moment at this beautiful place we were treated first class. My family are returning guests. We love the place so much that we have booked multiple weekends in a row. We will be returning every summer/fall. Amy and her husband Owen are the sweetest people, they're so funny, and make us feel so comfortable. My favourite place to be!!

This cottage was breathtaking! We spent so much time on the deck and the dock enjoying the view! So peaceful and beautiful! The kayak was amazing for exploring the narrows and nearby lakes. The cottage road was lovely for hikes and for runs. What an amazing spot to get away from city life and spend time breathing in the fresh air! Highly recommend and would definitely come back! Robyn was a great host - quick to respond and make everything perfect!

What a beautiful cottage on a beautiful lake! The multiple windows really let in the outdoors. there were so many different places to sit outside to enjoy nature and the lake. We used a kayak and a canoe, and Catherine provided all the safety equipment too. She even lent us a couple fishing poles. We chose the option to leave $10 for the garbage removal rather than take it to the dump ourselves. Everything was so simple. We are so glad we chose this cottage.

Laura’s cottage was perfect for our group’s stay over the long weekend! A lot of care and attention was put into every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. We were greeted in the kitchen with a sweet and thoughtful welcome kit with goodies to be enjoyed throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare + enjoy meals together inside or on the balcony, with an exceptional view overlooking the lake (also a perfect spot to look up at the stars at night!). Laura was very responsive to answer any questions we had, checking in regularly, and never short of suggestions to make sure we had the best experience. Whether it be spending a few hours getting lost in a book on the hammock, or taking the kayaks/SUPs/canoe out for a row, Laura’s cottage had it all. The steps down to the dock are plentiful and definitely feel like a workout but the elevation really gives you that castle in the sky’ feeling, along with the breathtaking views in all directions. This place is a gem! 💎

Great stay and location by the river. Most amenities you need are available and buying firewood is just around the corner. Rahul was a great host and replied to all our messages fast. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Hidden gem!! A touch of paradise! Beautiful rustic cabins! Incredible lake views with the most clear water! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious! We had an amazing week here relaxing and enjoying! We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Lots of space and very comfortable. We didn’t use the loft but a nice private area if needed. Super close to skidoo trails and to Haliburton for groceries or a dinner out. Lots of room for sleeping and nice to have 2 full size bathrooms. Eric responded immediately and helped us out with any issues that came up. Would definitely stay again.

This is our third time staying at the Cedars and it was amazing as always! Such a cozy, peaceful spot for our family of 4. Loved the wintry landscape and warmth of the cottage. Beautiful views of the lake. Beds were super cozy and the bathrooms were pristine! Only a 20 minute drive to Sir Sam’s ski resort, which we ventured to as well. The outdoor sauna was a fantastic addition, especially after a day of skiing! Ashley is a fantastic host who is always available and responsive if needed. We wish we had stayed longer! Thanks Ashley and Peter! We will be back for sure! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Christine’s cottage. It was very cozy and comfortable, the perfect retreat for a relaxing stay. The place was very clean and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking meals a breeze. The location was ideal, close to both Huntsville and Haliburton which gave us plenty of options to explore. Sir Sam’s skiing was only 35 minutes away. Christine was an excellent host and we would love to rent from her again.
