Edwin Cottage - Early 1900s Character Home

Our charming early 1900’s renovated cottage is perfectly positioned within the beautiful character overlay of Toowoomba. Moved to this location in 1925, Edwin Cottage is filled with period charm and character. We are located 4 minutes from the city and 5 minutes from Queens Park. It is a short 9 minute drive to Gabbinbar and 13 mins to the showgrounds. We have many food options within a 1 minute walk including a bakery, Fish & Chips, Chinese, Kebabs, Cafe, Spar Express and a liquor store.

Centrally located 5 minutes from the CBD, this detached private guest suite is the perfect stop over for anyone on a business trip, break or just passing through. This charming 1920's cottage is full of character with high ceilings, decorative fireplace and combustion stove, 3 generous sized bedrooms, full family bathroom and en-suite and sunlit back deck. Jampot Cottage is located within walking distance to Laurel Bank Park, St Marys and Glennie Schools. Both the Toowoomba CBD, Toowoomba Hospital and Clifford Gardens shopping centre are also just a stones throw away. A fully equipped kitchen and laundry are provided as well as a dedicated work space.

Eldridge -Little Brick House- Circa 1889

Eldridge -Little Brick House- is my home but now the guest suite allows you to enjoy the charm of this special space. This beautiful little cottage was built in 1889 by bricklayer Albert Egbert Eldridge. Enjoy the gorgeous rustic brick interior complimented by beautiful modern conveniences. Centrally located to inner Toowoomba. Eldridge has had a renovation to make a cosy, comfortable completely private guest space. This is not a large space but has most things you need when traveling.

Welcome to our most recent unit which we have incorporated all the things that we as Queenslanders love. Comfortable living and dining spaces, fully functional kitchen with German appliances and beautifully comfy queen bed with attached bathroom. Most of all a private veranda facing the most beautiful Park in Toowoomba for morning coffee or anytime of the day or night really! Walk to the City and many much loved local restaurants and cafes. Perfect for a Carnival of Flowers getaway.

In my view it is suited for a small family or two couples. Single garage with extra parking available in front or at rear. Unlimited wifi included ( NBN) and smart TV (65 in) with updated kitchen and bathroom. Reverse cycle air con in lounge. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Enclosed outdoor area with clothesline.

The cottage reopens from November 2024 Dear guests, you have the whole cottage and front yard available to use, we also have the main building and studio which is at the back of cottage but separate entrance. You can only notice us living at the rear property occasionally while we use the driveway. We will give you the most privacy but one minute away for help when you need us. This renovated historic charm cottage is only a walking distance to Queens Park. Stylish and welcome!
