Uncle Clyde’s Cabin

Bring the family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Great year round, whole house AC in the summer, heat and fireplace in the winter. Outdoor swings around a huge firepit. Steps to the lake. Fishing! Water rights, the boat ramp is one house away. Ten minutes to Havana for restaurants, shopping, river access. Dixon Mounds is 20 minutes north. Forty-five minutes from Peoria and one hour from Springfield. The sunsets and the peace and quiet are worth the stay. Pets are allowed, $75.

We provide 3 adult kayaks, one double and one child (under 150 pounds), and a pedal boat. Great outdoor fire-pit for s’mores and memories.

Put a record on and sip a glass of local wine as you enjoy the sunset. Perfect for a couple or individual seeking to connect with nature, this rural pet-friendly retreat is the ideal tranquil getaway.

Lodging on Main ~ W. D. Suite

Extra large studio suite. It features a king sized bed, full bathroom with shower and tub, microwave, and refrigerator. There is a two person window bench with a built in charging station that overlooks beautiful downtown Havana. Walking distance to Havana's riverfront park, wonderful shopping, and restaurants. Located near Dickson Mounds Museum, Emiquon and Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge, Bellrose Island, Havana's historic Water Tower, and Illinois River Road National Scenic Byway.

Hobbit House (duplex) Now w/late check-out Sundays

The Hobbit House apartment is located on the 1st floor of this home with a 2nd guest apartment in the basement. We are minutes from PIA! *Please no smoking of any kind in our home or near the door *($250 fine)* We are NOT a cannabis friendly property. In Illinois it is illegal to possess or use cannabis on private property without the owner's permission. Cozy with lots of character including the original squeeky hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, & a warm electric fireplace.

Historic Havana Lofts ~ South Bank Loft ~ Downtown

The South Bank Loft features a large, open studio style living space highlighted by gorgeous floor to ceiling windows overlooking historic Main Street in Havana, Illinois. The space has been meticulously restored and boasts high twelve foot ceilings, original restored crown molding, exposed brick and original hardwood maple floors. The loft also features a kitchenette with high end cabinetry, custom tile back splash and under cabinet lighting.

We are located just two blocks from the scenic Illinois River and Havana's Riverfront Park and its walking paths. Your hosts work in the newspaper office below, and live close by for after hours contact.
