5 Stars! Jenny was an absolute lifesaver and such a kind host! She accommodated us last minute without hesitation and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Her place at Hilo Lagoon was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. Anthony’s (Tony) place was quite the revelation, a little paradise!. Located close to downtown, it was perfect for exploring Hilo by foot including local cafes, grocery shops, farmers market and the odd pub! Tony was a truly amazing host and quick to respond. The listing was exactly as pictured—clean, cozy, and full of Hawaiian charm, with beautiful artefacts, and some paintings he has actually done himself! The kitchen was fully equipped with all the appliances one would ever need and complimentary teas, water, coffee (and a coffee maker or filters – for the traditional coffee drinker to actually brew the coffee), which I diligently used. The property also has lots of books for the avid reader, puzzles and board games such as dominos, chess, cards to keep one busy. Wifi was fast, and a Bluetooth speaker is provided to listen to favourite music. I would 100% stay again! Mahalo dear Tony and consider accepting my invite for a safari in Kenya!

Rhonda and Jeff were fantastic hosts! Their place was modern, spotless, cozy, and so thoughtfully set up. The small AC unit was surprisingly powerful—as long as the room door stayed open and the ceiling fan was on low, it stayed perfectly cool. They thought of everything: beach gear (chairs, towels, snorkels), bug spray, even an umbrella by the door. The bed was super comfortable, hot water was reliable, and the assigned parking spot was large and convenient. My husband also appreciated the outdoor cloths for cleaning gear. It’s a bit of a drive from Hilo and Keaau, so a vehicle is needed, but otherwise, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay. We’d absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would happily come back. Rhonda and Jeff are such thoughtful and lovely hosts—thank you both for your warm hospitality!

AMAZING HOUSE !! Had 5 people stay with me and each of us felt comfortable and relaxed with the amount of space there was. Highly recommended anyone needing a place to stay with groups.

The neighborhood was peaceful, the beds were very comfortable, all the information was clear, our host was highly responsive and kind. We had everything we need to make our stay wonderful

We were very happy with our studio! Very clean , surrounded by beautiful plants and tons of different flowers. We had our dog with us and she had fun too. Being able to do our laundry was a great benefit and blessing. Jacob was very friendly nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

This was a lovely, peaceful Airbnb in a nice neighborhood immediately outside of Hilo. Gregory met us upon arrival to ensure that we had what we needed. The unit included everything that we could have needed and more, including a very well-stocked kitchen, yoga mats, guide books, and beach chairs. We could easily get to downtown Hilo within a ten-minute drive and return to the unit for a soak in the hot tub. We loved Hilo and would absolutely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious house located in a nice, quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Location was ideal for all the activities we were interested in doing. Candace was very responsive when we contacted her. Highly recommend and we’ll be back!!

You really get a good feel of what it would be like to live on the island staying at this Airbnb. It’s more like you’re in a neighborhood. It takes a few minutes to get anywhere, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and the side of the island has a lot to do outside. Down South We really enjoyed the lava tubes, the black sandy beach, and all the waterfalls and hiking that you could do up north in Hilo. To enjoy the north east and south east part of the island. This is a perfect house.

Lucky to grab this location for a few days. Accommodations were great for three parties of folks. Especially great one couple could bring their dog. Unfortunately, we missed the volcano eruptions, which started the day we checked out for home. They seemed to have everything you might need and super cozy, including the reclining couch sections were comfortable enough to sleep in!!

The house is lovely inside and the lanai space and view are great. Neighbors walking past were always friendly, and the drum circle on Sunday was a fun extra. As stated in the description, it is a drive to get supplies, so stock up on coffee, toiletries and toilet paper. We had a little problem with water pressure while there, but Dawna and Andy responded and it was fixed as soon as we reported. The frogs croaking was a nice evening soundscape and we loved the geckos. We were lucky to witness Pele's power as she erupted, as it was an easy drive to Volcanoes National Park. We explored all around Pa' Hoa one day and found off the beaten path beaches and scenic drives up the coast with lava flows, state parks and the small city of Hilo with all its pocket beach parks. It was a nice base for eastern Hawaii wanderings.

Great rental spot with multiple decks and outside lounging areas that we took full advantage of. Views from the upper decks were tremendous, and it was located in a peaceful neighborhood. Had all the amenities that we needed, and we were especially grateful for the garage access during the rainy periods. Megan was a responsive host that checked in on us to make sure we made it in okay. We had a great time at this place.

The house was in a good location for our plan. We were close to town for restaurants & grocery stores. Me were up for a quiet vacation and certainly were able to avoid the crowds. It is situated near Hilo & Kīlauea volcano, which were our primary focus. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Awesome place and responsive host. Right on Carl Smith Beach Park, which is beautiful. Balcony is screened which cuts down on bugs, place and was super clean with thoughtful beach supplies that made our stay much more comfortable.

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

This condo was beautiful and spacious. She left soooo many amenities we were blown away. Like sunscreen if you needed it, woman products, creamer in the fridge, chips and macadamia nut treats. Truly a wonderful well stocked condo, not to mention the stunning view from the deck. We will stay here again for sure! Mahalo for having us

Lovely and spacious for my 3 month stay for work. All the amenities that I needed for cooking and cleaning, communal laundry in bldg, good wifi coverage. Safe and walkable to downtown which I loved. Small amount of noise with neighbours and ants/insects which are expected to some degree being in an apt bldg, in the tropics. I would definitely stay there again:)

We had a great stay! Joe and Cindy were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. The place was beautiful, well-stocked with everything we needed, and parking was super easy. Would definitely consider staying here again!

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb accommodations. This condo is the best. It it's perfect for one or two people it they aren't sharing beds. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I have been here multiple times and I am very comfortable here. Restaurants, market, and beaches are close and easy to access. I love staying here. Thank you!

James and Mila were excellent hosts. They made it super simple to check in and out! Their communication was top notch. I really appreciated all of the things that they provided in their Airbnb that we could use during our stay. The location of their Airbnb was perfect for all the things we wanted to do.
