The building itself is a beautiful Grade 2 listed Queen Anne farmhouse with courtyard, simply decorated, complete with exposed beams and unique features. The Den, self contained, beamed cottage attached to our own family home, situated on a rural country lane close to the village of Bartestree, only 4 miles from the historic market town of Hereford, ideally located for exploring the glorious Wye Valley, nearby Malvern Hills & the Black Mountains above Hay on Wye (home to the world renowned literary festival). Footpaths leading from the front door will take you to walks with glorious panoramic views of the surrounding countryside & 6 counties

Each nook and cranny reveals another handcrafted detail. It sits within beautiful gardens, with an abundance of wildlife for all to enjoy. Enjoy meandering through our ancient woodland.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

We are surrounded by lovely walks and lots to discover including the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Hay-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and many other beautiful places. Paddle boarding, cycling and canoeing are within easy reach. Close by is the village pub, The Yew Tree, with its very own cider shop just next door.
