Roost Retreat, cabin on hill farm with valley view

If you want to get away from it all this Single room cabin is located in a remote mid Wales. This working, carbon negative farm has Outstanding views all round with lots of footpaths and offas dyke or just sit back and enjoy the sound of nature. With the church of St Marys and the battle site of 1402 and a the remains of a Saxon castle all at the bottom of hill at Pilleth. The market towns of Presteigne and Knighton 6 miles, Hay on wye, Ludlow and the Elan Valley 20 miles. Everyday is nice 😊

The Goose House

The Goose House is a private one bedroom cottage in the grounds of Brook Cottage, a small holding, which originates from the 17 th century. It is situated in an 'Area of outstanding natural beauty' and the delightful Leigh Brook runs through the grounds. It has gated access and plenty of parking. It has been renovated in 2024 and offers a comfortable stay. A welcome pack includes local fresh eggs, homemade jam and fresh coffee that we roast ourselves. We have super fast broad band too.

Escape reality in our beautiful canal boat. The Sitting Duck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The boat is situated on a farm, surrounded by fields. Wake up to the ducks on the lake, horses in the field, even the emus come to say hello. Just 4miles out of ludlow and 3miles from Tenbury wells. The Garden Annexe, tranquil & relaxing

Welcome to our home space... we’ve been busy totally redecorating, it’s so pretty we can’t wait to show you! A quiet peaceful location, kick back & enjoy. With an award winning pub on the doorstep, literally a 3 minute walk .. the gardens are pretty, with the fresh running stream, home to our ducks. We are at the foot of May Hill, a beautiful natural area for walking & exploring. A new hottub is now available and is now under cover so even rainy days can be enjoyed .

Traditional Otter Cottage is nestled on our secluded organic farm. 2 bedroom riverside cottage (for up to 4 people)

Be prepared for instant relaxation in this peaceful rural spot at an historic watermill on the banks of the River Monnow, the only sounds are those of the river and the local wildlife. Take a glass of wine or BBQ down to the river in the early evening and be sure to see the kingfisher flying down the river and trout jumping. Walkers can join the riverside Swan walk, which runs through the Ruthlin grounds and woods and fishing can be arranged on request.
