Highland Lake : locations de vacances

A beautiful home and the views were breathtaking on the lake. Although, it was frozen. All the amenities we needed and more. Close to skiing and tubing. Owner Sara was very attentive to respond quickly. We just wanted a getaway place for a family weekend. The road was narrow and very icy. Would go back but not in the winter. Summer and the Fall I think would be best. Lots more things to do in the nicer weather months. Thank you Sara for your hospitality.

We were in the area to meet our son's fiance's extended family. Nathania's home was perfect! We had 7 adults and 5 little boys ages 9, 7, 5, 2, and 2 months. There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the time together. The hot tub, kayaks, and foosball table were especially popular! We were able to host a family dinner with guests which was wonderful. Everything we needed for preparation was readily available. Lots of beautiful parks, playgrounds, hiking areas. Plenty to keep everyone entertained! Nathania was extremely kind, gracious, and responsive to questions. We had absolutely zero issues. So grateful for a wonderful vacation. Thank you for sharing your idyllic home with us. We hope to visit again!!!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautiful and peaceful property! The house is nestled in lush greenery, offering a private and serene escape from the city. We especially loved having access to the basketball court — it was such a fun and unique touch that made our stay even more memorable. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a bit of outdoor fun!

Wonderful home, 2 min drive from town. Everything was very cozy and comfortable from the beds to the big cozy couch in the living room. Our family of four and my mother-in-law enjoyed all of the space and amenities like the bbq and big tub in the master. We had a wonderful stay and will be back soon!

Even though it rained, the spring weekend was beautiful! Henry’s yard provided the perfect place for kids to run around and play, while enjoying the flowers and the thoughtfully cared for garden. We hiked the nearby beautiful waterfall and strolled around the delightful town of Kent (with a great bookstore and nice cafes). Thank you for a memorable, relaxing weekend!

Welcoming, tidy and clean home. Fully functional and amenable to families with young children. A perfect winter getaway spot given its proximity to Otis Ridge. Extremely easy to ski in and ski out. Mary Kay is a lovely host- extremely responsive, helpful and flexible.

The place was great and wish i had more time there. We were just looking for a quick overnight with two bedrooms, which this was, but it seemed like a lovely place for a vacation.

This was our first time in Connecticut. We were pleased with our accommodations. The home looks just like pictures and it had everything listed. Lots of space for more guests to stay. Host answers all text messages very quickly. She was very friendly as well. We didn't mind not wearing shoes in the home. We do same at our own home. One thing to note is on Google map it's listed as a diffrent number. But on the home it says the number told to us in information. Also wasn't sure but we couldn't change temperature. But we appreciated when we asked to have it adjusted it was done. All in all a very nice home.
