Absolutely loved our stay! Nice little getaway to celebrate our wedding and birthday. Would definitely recommend!!!

This is by far my favorite stay in the north land. Brandon’s place was peaceful and fun. Large enough for the family to stay comfortably. Clean and beautiful. Everything we needed was there. Games. Pool table. Beautiful craftsmanship. Nice trail around the property. Just far enough from Spooner to be quiet and serene but not a bad drive to town, about 18 minutes. Checkin was easy. Instructions were clear and reasonable. Host response was timely and thorough. Great place for family with kids of most ages, but probably not for toddlers. We will stay here again, for sure!!

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, totally private cabin. The views are incredible—you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset right from the windows. We spent our days canoeing on the peaceful river, spotting painted turtles and watching a kingfisher fish, which was such a treat. The nearby town is small and quiet, with not much going on, but honestly, the cabin and nature around it are all you need. It’s the perfect place to unplug and unwind.

This gem in the woods is absolutely incredible. Great amenities, kitchen well-stocked with tools, and beautiful layout. The pre-visit document laid out all expectations, and the house was clean.

I was very impressed with the place by the lake very nice Sadie is a great person and had the opportunity to meet her at the venue that my son was having his wedding reception. We are already planning our next visit. Also the Hot Tub was ready to go when we got there Thanks John

My husband & I stayed here with our dog, and loved it! Lake views from nearly every room, even larger than it looks in the photos, well stocked kitchen, and comfy furniture! Hosts were super responsive and friendly, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin surrounded by nothing but trees and tranquility. The hot tub was the cherry on top!

This place has the perfect Trifecta for our small family - EV charging, dog friendly and a playground to boot. We had a lovely staycation with our toddler. For anglers, there is a public boat launch within 1 mile. For EVers- in addition to the 14-50 plug, they have 30A 240 and a 20A 120v, so you can charge multiple EVs if needed (a true rarity). The hosts were pleasant and accommodating, we would gladly stay again!

Jeff was very accommodating with any of our needs/requests, and the location was perfect for our trip requirements. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may wish to do during your stay as well, removing the need to go out to eat if you wish to. My familey and I look forward to another stay here everytime we will be visiting in the area in the future!

What a well set up experience! From the easy access to the home and set up of wifi to the layout of the property, everything was a treat. Would 100% stay here again! The main bedroom was comfortable and we found so many useful things included for use from the pack n play to the flashlights and lighters to the nice sized deck. Would have loved to get a campfire going but didn’t have the time. What a great place to spend a week or more at if you were inclined…the game room is a nice added bonus. So much to do to occupy your time…absolutely wonderful experience . Brian was super responsive to questions too! Wish we had more time to enjoy it.

I've stayed here several times. Very peaceful, cozy, and scenic. The cabin has everything a home would need, and Pine City is only 10 or 15 minutes away, so provisions are close if you forget anything. I'll be back again in the fall. Thanks for making this place available Tracy and Dave!

I had such a wonderful stay! The space was exactly as described, clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The host was super responsive and made check-in a breeze. I especially appreciated the little touches, like the coffee station, books, and robes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

Brandi's place was perfect for Birkie weekend. A little bit of a drive to the course and events, but not too bad. The cabin was as advertised and Brandi was very responsive and a great host.

What a wonderful experience! Host was so responsive! This A-Frame had all to simple attention to detail to include all the fixings for s’mores! Location was so peaceful! If I could I would return sooner than later! I cannot recommend highly enough! As they say… “just do it!” Kris

Second time staying here and it's very comfortable and clean. They have made updates to the home since we were there last. The furniture is comfortable, home is clean, things are labeled and easy to find. The view of the lake is so beautiful! We haven't been there in the summer, but we hope to! We appreciated the little touches of hospitality, for example a handwritten card to welcome us back, "take what you need" toiletries in the bathroom, and treats for us on the counter. We had a hiccup with the door code and messaged Sharon and she replied immediately and got us in. (It was a user error, I'm sure!) Definitely would recommend Camp Hammond! Thank you, Sharon!

We had a great, relaxing time at Jessica’s cabin! The kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of towels, the cabin was spacious. It was SO quiet and peaceful! We would definitely return! If you visiting in the colder months, you may want to bring slippers. We enjoyed breakfast at the Roasting House and picked up pizza at Zorbaz (both close by). We also enjoyed a hike at Savanna Portage State Park.

Great little cabin for 4 adults. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Had everything and looked just like the pictures. Super easy to find and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. We enjoyed the comforts of cabin and screened porch The deck and grill were great to use. We loved exploring the trail and river. Doug thought of making us have a wonderful time. We loved the coffee bean grinder and espresso maker. We watched birds and loved all the green popping up from the ground. Thank you for sharing your retreat. It was beautiful. The wren cafe in Luck was so fun. Beautiful scenery and delicious food and more espresso 😀

Amazing place. Super cozy and comfortable. The wood burning stove and record player created a magical retreat for creating family memories. The loft is adorable and very spacious! The basement was way roomier than expected. All beds were very comfortable!! and a total hit with my kids. Communication was quick and easy and Naomi was great at checking in with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Due to an injury, we had to stay a second night here and our host was very accommodating throughout the process. The sauna is PRISTINE. I am a Finlander and grew up with a true sauna house build by my great-grandfather…this was a lot like our homeland property, and made our stay comfortable. We are also a LONG line of musicians and came into town for my father’s show at the Casino. We woke Saturday to him playing the drums! It was such a beautiful touch to a well furnished cabin, which is more like a massive home. Thank you, Pavel. We appreciate your flexibility as we navigated chaos. We would absolutely stay again - the space is extremely large and would fit our large family four times over.

This was our second time booking this spot for a weekend getaway. We love how cozy the space is and playing board games in the living room. The bed is comfy and it is easy to adjust the temperature as needed. Cindy is super accommodating and made sure the place was clean before we arrived. We love going into Spooner to visit the dock and bookstore. We also love going to the Potter’s Shed off of highway 53. We will be back!

This cabin was so cozy! Pay attention to the listed amenities and instructions and you'll do fine. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is on a ranch in the middle of rural Minnesota - good fishing, blue skies, stars at night, friendly locals, and the great outdoors. Owen & Leah were very proactive and helpful in any updates/communications. For the experience, this place was worth the money. I would love to visit again just to book the cabin!
