Two bedroom, 1 bath cabin nestled in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountains beside Waggy's Creek. The cabin, originally built as a mountain family getaway, has recently been renovated as an Airbnb for those seeking outdoor activities and tranquility. The rustic cabin is also accompanied by a picnic shelter with a working rock fireplace, loft, and an additional outdoor bathroom (in season). Approximately 2 acres of field and partially wooded property are available to guests. NO PETS.

The cabin in located at the bottom of the mountain along the trout stocked Dry River. This cabin is equipped with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. You will be able to leave all your worries behind, have a beautiful bonfire while listening to the river run down the beautiful mountain side.

This lovely cabin is a short walk to the hiking trails of The George Washington National Forest, within walking distance of Dry River and Gum Run Stream, and a quick drive to the college town of Harrisonburg. This rural retreat still provides close proximity to Eastern Mennonite University, James Madison University, and Bridgewater College and are about 45 minutes from Shenandoah National Park. We are only 15 minutes from Harrisonburg and many options for dining out. We look forward to hosting you!

Country Oasis, located between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains, is a lovely get away for anyone wanting the privacy of an entire home to yourself. It is just a short drive from JMU, EMU, and Bridgewater College. Harrisonburg, "the friendly city" is just a 15 minute drive from our location. There are two Farmers Markets and numerous other attractions nearby.

We are conveniently located along Rt 33 about 10 minutes from EMU, JMU. The George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, and numerous caverns provide endless opportunity for outdoor adventures. There is also abundant shopping and dining nearby in Harrisonburg, Dayton, or Bridgewater.
