Laura Walker State Park/Golfing and Okefenokee Swamp Park entrance is approx. 8 miles away. Visit our Heritage Center and Southern Forest World to see the petrified dog in the log. The Golden Isles are about an hour’s drive away. There is a fabulous bike trail on Jekyll Island. Beautiful beaches awaits on Jekyll and St. Simons Island also with historical places.

The Cabin at The Old Parrott Place is ideal for one or two people to stay overnight or for a week. It's rustic, but clean and comfortable, has a king bed, a claw-foot tub, an outdoor shower, a microwave, toaster, small fridge and complementary coffee and tea. Come love what we love about our adopted hometown! We are pet lovers! So your pets are welcome. There is a $25 one time pet fee per pet to help cover the cost of the extra cleaning needed when our furry guests check out.
