We absolutely LOVE the place have come multiple times.

Such a private and relaxing location. Our last two nights we even saw the aurora over Gratiot Lake! Make sure if cloudy days are forecasted you conserve power! We had no difficulty utilizing the amenities and when we had questions Rebecca was responsive and helpful! The roads in are sand/gravel so we would recomend using a vehicle with high clearance. We had a wonderful stay here!

A great place to stay and centrally located. Great place for a break... but close enough to all that the Keweenaw has to offer.

My husband and I needed a last minute place to stay over the past weekend. We wanted to stay in the L’Anise area, since we have a friend that lives in the town, and this was the best option. The unit is clean, has an amazing view of Lake Superior and is very spacious. I was very impressed with the unit overall. I would gladly book again!

I hate to leave a positive review because we want this place all to ourselves. The location is amazing to see anything and everything we wanted and more. Quite area right on the Keweenaw Bay, amazing sunrises every morning along with deer greeting you! The fenced in yard gave us time to relax as we didn't have to worry about our dogs every move.

We had a great stay at the cabin, it is comfortable and goes back to the basics of what’s important. It’s near copper harbor which has what you could need nearby and the cabin was outfitted with everything we needed for a good time. There were a lot of thoughtful touches that went into it! We loved that we could bring our dog and it was comfortable for four people. The guides were helpful and we even saw the Aurora the first night we were there. One night we did run into a bear on grounds but that is a potential hazard and the bear did run the opposite direction. The staff at Fresh Coast are excellent communicators and friendly. We enjoyed the conversation with others and it was just a really welcoming environment to feel included. Thank you so much for the hospitality and great stay!

I highly recommend this place through Dean. Check in was very straight forward and the house was much larger than expected. Always warm and cozy! The view of the lake and mountain are absolutely breathtaking. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment for a couple nights of home cooked meals! There were a few items we needed and there was a small convenience store very close which worked out great. This house and the quick responses from dean were great!

We stayed for a ski/birthday weekend and it was perfect. Sherry was great offering suggestions on dining and weekend happenings. Watching the deer in the morning was a highlight. The nearby cottages were close but still felt secluded. We hope to return!

This is the only house I have ever gone back to and I've been there 4 times. You will not find a winter waterfront view like this anywhere else. The home is spacious, quiet, and well kept.

From the moment we arrived, Cheryl was lovely! Her place is very nice, clean and had all of the amenities needed for a great stay. A private B&B, on the water, and just 20 minutes from Houghton, what more could you ask for? I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Cheryl is fun to visit, kind, and informative. The continental breakfast, hot tub and sauna were highlights for us. There are many extras here a large family or group could keep entertained with (instruments, blue tooth speaker, karaoke machine, roku TV, snowshoes, sleds for sledding, pool, hot tub, sauna, nature trails). Parking a truck and trailer for snowmobiling is effortless. It is a nice base camp for snowmobiling groups that will be trailering to their spot.

La Rose is a hidden gem in the Keweenaw bay and I'm so glad to stumble upon it. The backyard has a perfect view of Lake Superior giving you panoramic views of sun and moon rises. Cheryl is very friendly and she cares about the local community. She's so knowledgeable and fun to talk to. I would definitely go back.

Really enjoyed staying at Janine's place. Cozy cabin that slept 3 single guys comfortably. Great views of Lac La Belle. Extremely close to Mt Bohemia where we went for skiing and the spa. Great experience all around!

We really enjoyed our stay at restful shores, the location was perfect for our fishing trip on portage lake. The house was clean and neat and perfect for our group

We visited for a weekend skiing trip at Mont Ripley. Shannon's place was clean, quiet, and the perfect size for our family of four. The location is just what we were looking for, away from the hustle and bustle of Houghton and Hancock but just a short drive to Mont Ripley and restaurants. Just a word of caution, the road leading to the cabin is rural, and during our three day visit we received about 8 inches of snow and it was never plowed. We didn't have any issues getting in and out, but four wheel drive is probably required on snowy weekends.

Top notch, 100% great stay! I can't say enough great things about this home/location/property owner! The location was close enough to places we wanted to check out for day trips (Calumet, Eagle Harbor lighthouse, JamPot, etc) but coming back always felt like home. The host was responsive and helpful. We didn't cook any meals, but the kitchen seemed well stocked if we had wanted to do more than heat pasties. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the decor was great, and the views were phenomenal. I was even able to see the Northern Lights. Our timing with the fall color season was the cherry on top of a wonderful trip! I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Beautiful historic lake front home with plenty of space for my family. Comfortable and filled with history as outlined in write up about the home's origins and previous owners. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises each morning of our springtime stay. Great communication from Paul making this a great experience!

We loved staying at Kyle’s place! The host was responsive and provided clear instructions and suggestions. The house was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. There was plenty of comfortable seating - loved the porch and outdoor space. The mattress was super comfortable, which is important to my old bones after a day of hiking/exploring! We were only two people, but you could easily accommodate a large family or group and have plenty of room! We loved the remote waterfront location, it was so quiet and peaceful. We explored the Baraga County area (recommend the Lake and County tour), easily made day trips east to the Michigamme area and west to the Keweenaw and to Houghton for a MTU football game. We even got to see the Northern Lights right from the yard! It was a great time and we are already talking about coming back!

I loved her cozy Airbnb! Felt like I was home 🏡 but a lot colder and way more snow 😊. Very very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals which is not always the case. PLENTY of sleeping room. It was just my daughter and I but wanted to check it out for the summer time and I will try to rent it again for then. Cheryl was super sweet and kind. We had an issue but she was very quick to respond and fix the situation. GREAT host! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!
